Not at all, although some might consider such devices as hot swapable, which in essence I guess they are. No, these are IDE or SCSI drives with IDE or SCSI interfaces that support all the glorious bandwidth of those devices that are in hot-swapable bays.

Try restarting Windows in MS-Dos mode (Start > Shut Down > Restart in MS-DOS Mode) and when it starts up type in:
