What is the best car in the game and why?

shelby 427 cobra. So easy to drive, beautiful, powerful, and sounds incredible. Plus you can use it in so many races, and properly set up, can race many full out race cars with it.

I've gotta say i bought and fully tuned the Lotus RM modded car and played around with the setup, it has about 320hp and beats my Audi R8 (890hp) and Veyron (1186hp) around Grand Valley speed way, it's an absolute beast. So much fun.

Lexus LFA. it's a monster cornering, with great acceleration + look good, and the best V10 sound.the only bad on the LFA is the Top speed, my LFA only can reach to 196 mph T.T, but I still love the LFA.

My Chrome Line Shelby has seen a lot of action already.. One of my best all around cars so far.

So far the ZR1. I'm only a 19 though and with the z06 and zr1 fully modded, I'm beating the other cars by 20+ seconds each race. Now that champion ship with the race cars, I'm having a hard time hanging with them.

I'm trying to decide now if I should get the Mclarren or the Enzo, or if I should get a Ford GT or a 458 Italia and mod them.

Atm the best car for me is the Skyline GT-R spec II Nur R34 maxed out, when i ride with this beast i feel the brutal power in my hand, it's amazing really really amazing! But i must try so many other cars yet!

Love everyone gravitating to the Skyline GTRsfor the simple reason they are AWD. However there is no denying that they are stable and can corner prettymuch in the top 30 street cars in the game.

I'm personally saving up for a ZR1, have a Z06 now and it's like playing te game with the oyota Corolla Levin, only in fast forwards lol. Near spot on balance, you can make it push, make it drift all you gotta do is just play with the accelerator a little and make it do what you want.

For a MR car The NSX is a hard charging welter weight that tries hard to get with the heavyweights. Though the Elise is even more so, long as you can keep it pointed straight.

Now as for AWD cars the Evo and STIs are awesome short course cars. Though if the track gets longer then well... sadly the Skyline's bigger powerplant delivers where those spunky 4cyls can't. And then you get the exotics and they just take things a little further.

Though pure laughing fun the RX-7 as well as the Shelby Cobra are just plain fun to slide around.

Front Wheel Drive? I dunno, I grabbed a Civic R hatchback and used that. Wanted a CRX but i haven't had one pop up that wasn't the 1.5 ballade model.

I was shocked my favorite car popped up for sale in the used section after only a few days playing.

I got my Subaru 22B. Life is complete. (haha)

(edit) If I was to define "Best" car in-game the winner would be my most favorite to drive.

You won't regret getting the Italia and McLarren.

Fail 👎. The Veyron is nothing more than fast in a straight line. On any track other than Le Mans it will fall easily to cars with half of it's horsepower. Only a complete and udder noob would suggest such ridiculousness. :

BMW balance is impossible to beat, but then again so is Ferrari grip (Ford GT is a contender). They are unsurpassed in my opinion.

Im lvl 13 and buyed Nissan GT-R SpecV 09' yesterday... AWESOME Car! I love it, and turned to be my favourite car so far. Its so nice to drive it, i just need pratice in handling, but i have a long way to try other ones!

No question in my mind the Furai is the best car in the game because it is so useful to win so many series, both A-spec and B-spec. It's free and it works great with 1,000,000 in damage, and it responds well to tuning. At first I thought it's looks were a little over-dramatic. But beauty is as beauty does. A winning race car always looks better than a loser.

I am a huge fan of the Acura NSX '91 with RM it handles great for a MR car and I have beaten some pretty tough races with it. It did take some time to get a feel for it but once I did it was easy. I also am going to throw the Amuse Carbon (R34) up there if not for its reasonably powerful engine but the fact that its a FR car that drives much more like a AWD car. Maybe its just me but when I took this car for a spin the first time I could not believe how great it handled. I realize that everyone's driving style is going to result in them choosing a car that handles best for them also.

While I think this was an interesting thread and there were some good responses I would have to say that there is no "best car" because like it has been said everyone drives differently and what works great for one person may not work at all for another. Just my two cents but there you have it.👍

im with saidaouita, the 22B fully modded punches well above its weight and can quite happily race with JGTC racecars all day long...the fact it stands out on the grid (especially in chrome!) just makes this the most enjoyable all round car....for me
