What is the fastest quarter mile car in GT4

What is the fastest car in GT4 for 1/4 mile? Exclude all cars that must be won with a driving mission, an endurance event, a dirt race, or other events that are a nuisance to beat(You can say the R92CP because it is a secret black car, though)
Also exclude the 787b because it has a bad top speed.

The Escudo is generally faster, the 6-second run has no video verification so it's more than a bit debatable.

The R34 V-Spec II is generally a quicker and faster car.....99% of those spec-C times were carryovers from Ver.1 of the 1/4 mile thread.

One of the Imprezas is definitely the fastest on the Quarter-Mile. I can't remember which but its a late model version.

And I can tell you as the person who RUNS the quarter mile thread that the Impreza WRX STi Spec-C '04 is slower than the R34 Skyline GT-R V-spec II NUR, as the videos that have been uploaded onto YouTube have proven. As I have already explained, the Spec-C times in my list are mostly carried over from version 1 of the 1/4 mile thread that ended in 2005.....the leading Spec-C times on there are something that I've never really considered to be true, but since they were there before I took over the running of that thread, I could not dispute them in my own right and take them off the leaderboard. Since I've been running the thread (over 5 years!), both have run very similar 7.6 second 1/4 miles....mostly due to the Spec-C's NOS glitch, but the R34 is the king with Top Speed.

I never ran a Skyline in a quarter, so I'm going to have to try that. Was the car used doing a manual or an automatic transmission?

Probably manual. Auto has a tendency to just let the wheels spin until you get to the shift speed.
