well the first car i got other then the FIT was the VY 04 SS commodore now to try and find my paint color (Barbados blue) since there is no used dealership to find different color paints i dont even know if its in the game

The Honda Fit is the first car you have to buy. When the tutorial tells you to buy a car, that one is the only one you'll be able to select. After buying the Honda, all the other cars unlock again and you're free to buy whatever you like.

This Video shows first hour out the box. They are buying second car at around 50mins but I reckon quick play could get you a choice at around 35mins of play.

From what I have seen the Honda Fit gets you though the Novice level.

It is clear you can blow your money on whatever you want then. The video choice RX8 S was excellent I found.
But I fear you risk to be stuck in progress when you suddenly need a European rear wheel drive car from before 1980 for the next step.
Anybody get stuck already with their choice of first car?

The moment I could after the Fit RS I bought a Nissan Silvia spec-R Aero (S15, premium).

It's been pretty traditional a Silvia is my first car if able in new GT releases.
