What is the greatest GT intro PD ever created?

I don’t know if a poll like this has been made, although I doubt it. Perhaps not in the GT Sport subforum. And perhaps not in the scale of this poll. But please do correct me if I’m wrong.

I love the piano part of the GT Sport intro, where you get a glimpse of the history of motorsport. I find it to be very beautiful. However, I don’t think GT Sport’s intro is the greatest of them all. In my opinion, that title goes to GT5’s Spec II Intro that featured Daiki Kasho’s 5oul on D!splay. To me, it showed the power of GT without including Moon Over The Castle.

But now I lay the question on you: which intro rules them all, and why?

GT3 intro, NTSC version. Love it.

The GT3 EU intro for me. But of course the GT1 intro has a special place in my GT heart. After 20 years I still get chills when the logo shows up at 1.11:

GT3 PAL, closely followed by GT1 JP & GT4 NA

Gran Turismo 5 Spec II. It's probably the single best of the best racing game intro of all time. That piano, that music (can't go wrong with daiki kasho), and that cinematography is just perfect.

But even so, the original GT1 intro still lives in my heart. GT6 and GT4 (JP and US ver) are awesome too.

I'll never get tired of this intro , and i love this game so much.

This one will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s my 2nd favourite GT intro (GT4 PAL intro gets 3rd for me). I have quite a few memories with that intro alone.

I really need to buy GT3 again.

Yeah this was the game I got with my PlayStation and the mix of the great music, editing and visuals left a lasting impression.
This with the iconic boot up sequence of the PS1 remains one of the most vivid and powerful memories gaming I have.



Though, I do also REALLY like the GT6 intro

I like the visuals of the GT:S intro but absolutely hate the Disney soundtrack that goes with it. So it shouldn’t be the winner. The GT:S ending credits video is great though.

The GTS intro is not even in the same league of the old GTs.
For me, GT1 (the adrenaline ) and GT3 (Feeder!).

Couldn't agree more, think they've all been pretty good but the nostalgia of hearing that music and so on will never get old...
