What is the most races (series ect.) you have won with your 1st car ?

I would just like to know how far people go with their 1st cars, and whether they upgrade or buy another car. I have done most of the amateur league races with my 1st car as well for example.

When I bought a car, it was one I would want to add car parts to. When I won a car, it was usually the Mazda RX-8, I did nothing to it.

I love using the RX-8 at the PD Cup in order to win the F094/S. I would win the RX-8, get a S-license, then run the PD Cup for the F094/S. Getting the fastest car of the game for your second car at your first race, and without spending a dime of the money you started with, just seemed funny to me.

Yes I see what you are saying ... seems a bit like the wrong "path" for the game, I mean, they should have made that you can't progress to the F1's so quick, if you see what I am saying ...

Another thing, in the PD Cup, what changes can be made to your car ? Must it be totally non-tuned ?

With that race it's a good idea to use T3's and get an oil change before running it.

Kragbee's for fun, I've been running a number of "Straight out of the box" attempts at the PD cup. Literally buying a car and going right into the PD cup. No tire or oil changes. This amounts to a very interesting race series, as your pit schedule is drastically different and your tire wear management has to be seriously considered.

The Shelby Cobra is my next attempt. Current Favorite is the Ruf RGT. You'd think that it'd blow the competition away, but on normal tires, you've got a 4-5 lap pit schedule.

As for most races won in my first car, it wasn't that many. I took gold on the license tests, and ran the Roadster enduro. This heavily loaded the coffers for whatever I needed.

I did my fair share... but um... when i had enough to buy a R34... i sold my old one and start to own in my R34... i regret selling it... but for that i bought the same car i started with a AE86... i did all ameature and beginner with the R34... except those races where they limit cars... other than that i always use my R34... but now im using a 787B... owning...

My VW Beetle didn't go very far; it has over 200 miles, but after winning the Sunday Cup, the FF series a few times, I had enough juice to win the Beetle Cup series twice. I retired it because it wasn't that much fun to drive, but I took it out again for the Professional FF @ Deep Forest and gave it one last win.

There's no way a stock Beetle would make much progress in the PD Cup.

Indeed. None at all.

I managed to win the series with an Integra Type-R, but it required a few restarts to thin out the opposition a little. :D

I won it in a fiat....
but I cant back that up ;)

I wish that i had time for longer races but 15 laps is all i can manage (well when i was playing the game)

to answer the question, I took a 1.6 miata thro most of the beginners and part of amateur once.

The first car I bought was the best MX-5 you could buy, when I gave it a racing gearbox it got an extra gear, it went from a 5 to 6 speed and I won pretty much every race in Beginner mode it could enter, exept the NA race, I used a 328Ci for that.

Yeah thanks for al lthe feedback dudes ! :D

I started out with the MX-5 as well (tried to get golds in the licences, but couldn't :( , so I did all the Beginner races with it (all except the car-specific ones.

Then in ons series I won a Mine's Lancer GSR VI and that car took me through the whole Amateur league as well ...

I did the PD CUP last week with the Skyline 34 II or whatever, took the advice and put T3's and oil change in.

Was a real hard series for me ... Won most of them and did the save trick to win the Polophony001 F1 car ... and now I have lots of cash (CR 900000) to play around with !

It has'nt been mentioned in this brief thread, but you can enter the PDcup (GT3Aversh) with; any tyreage, a recent oil change and upgrade to sports brakes for braking
