Fully Tuned RUF CTR Yellow bird, that thing is damn fast.
My TVR speed 12 I find is very quick, the issue with this is the start, managing the start is impossible on this as it will spin up to 4th with S3 tyres. I find with it max'd out and lightened, putting ballast on the back increases the PP further and increases available traction, full revs and pull of in 3rd & no tcs, still not as quick as say a veyron or tuned skyline of the mark but once going is very quick, also there are no gear changes up to 120-130. I find speed 12 gear changes in 1-2-3 are slow starting in 3rd clears these.
I find that setup quicker than other methods I have tried and quicker than over speed 12 i have dragged.
I have tried adjusting the gearing to say tgtt but as it can spin through all gears up to 4th, gearing makes little difference and it only get up to 5th maybe a little of 6th anyway, tcs bogs it down.

Interesting thread, just a couple of observations/corrections cause I am so pernickety!
1. The OP is asking if any cars can beat what appears to be a heavily-tuned Skyline...if some of those cars in the replies can't beat it stock, damn straight that can beat it also heavily-tuned. That's fair, right? And OP, you must have a lot of these cars so honestly the whole thing does come across a little like Skyline fanboyism ;-)
2. People keep mentioning the Ford GT '05 (No Stripe) as if it's in some way different to the regular (striped) '05 GT...it's not. I think you can figure out the only difference, and it's cosmetic, not in performance.
3. The TVR Cerbera Speed 12 was produced, albeit in small numbers. Some were raced in GT class, and a few (but single figures only) were built as prototypes and exhibited at various car shows. Admittedly only one was ever road-registered which was made in part from bits of earlier racing models, but it still exists, just Youtube it. OK arguably not a "proper" production car but a lot closer than the likes of the ZZII or R390 road car

Hey Poppins I was curious if you'd share some of your setup for your TVR Speed 12. I love my Speed12, and would like to drag it more. But like you pointed out no traction till mid 3rd gear. Hell I can do a smokey donut from 1st to 3rd gear and not grab traction till 4th.
So what settings are you using? Suspension/Drivetrain etc. hook another TVR fan up.👍

Try the shelby series 1 supercharged that is very fast for having low500 pp but my zz2 is amazingly tuned by.me beaten mclaren f1, enzos, gtrs a few race cars all tuned a mike judd racecar aswell it tops at 239 RIdicUlous acceleration and the rs6 is very fast too

Gillet Vertigo, try and tune it or use oil change until you get 959 / 969 bhp (Can't remember which) and it is a little rocket 👍

For road cars, on top gear track, the Veyron is the fastest.
Aside from the veyron, cars that usually win out;
Enzo - even with a track tune(full downforce, camber etc), its still easy to cream most cars. Its 0-170mph is insane. No skyline has a chance.
Nardo - Very fast. Not enzo fast, but it easily takes most.
One car is the Lamborghini SV. Every now and then, someone joins in with a tuned SV that massacres everything. Its one of those cars that isnt the best, but it can be tuned to beat anything.
