doesn't matter if they are crap (which most marked 10 are). I don't believe that a particular model shows up more frequently than any other, they are all pre-programmed to show up on a certain game day. I'm defining rarity on the basis of how many of a particular model do you see in game when online.
The total number of members on mygranturismo.net is probably close to a fair cross section of the GT5 community, so it is fair to assume that the rarity values attached to the vehicles on the site is representative of the online community also.

Any old muscle car from the UCD.. usually only see a specific model once or twice then its gone forever. Luckily I got the '64 GTO & '67 Cougar from it - those I've only seen once.

rarest apart from certain race cars would be porsche, untill a day or 2 ago ive never seen one for sale since game release, then luck would have it, i found 2 in the USD at the same time RR n/a costing 125k(which was the one i could afford) and a more powerful 4wd version for i think 285k which went once i grinded the money lol..

i did see that suzuki bike engined car think which has also been a 1 off, but went before i had the money...

ive seen the speed 12 race car........ but online

There is also a '00 Mine's BNR34 Skyline that I saw once and snatched up. Didn't even know the '00 model was in the game.

you are right that the ucd is pre-programed. however I have documented enough ucd days, along with others in the used car database thread to know that not every car is programmed to show up an equal amount of times. pd certainly intended for some cars to be harder to find than others

to answer the op, i have found the ford gt 02 to be the rarest in the ucd. why pd chose that particular car so hard to find, i have no idea

That's a prize car for the a-spec 4hr nurburgring race...one of the few enduros that's fun

The Nissan R390 road car doesn't come up often...and I've just spent all morning trying to find a Pug 905C to no avail...found the skyline LM road car instead, so not a total waste!

I haven't seen the Audi R8 LMS yet. I saw the Playdtation version in my UCD the other day for over 5 million. I didn't buy it because I already have one.

I have the Peugeot 905. That is supposed to appear in UCD only once every 10,000 Days so I've heard. Don't know if its true, but thats what I've heard from 3-4 different people.
