Don't you know? All rock and roll is made up of three chords and the truth. :dopey:

If you want uninspired chord progressions, go Firehouse. You can play all their hits with the same chords.

Best drinking guitar game ever.

ACDC is the same way. Its almost all ADE or some variation of the three.

I like AC/DC but it's the same story with Status Quo.

Why all the hate for country? I HATE the slow whiny country music but the songs that are more like rock aren't bad.

But one of THEE worst songs I've ever heard is that stupid 'Party Rock' (I'm guessing it's called) which makes my ears bleed. And whenever it plays on the bus some dumbass always has to say 'Turn it up!' so even with my iPod on full volume, I can still hear the horrible sounds of that stupid song.

Exactly how i feel when someone blasts that song "Ring Ring Ring" by Rick Ross. Once it gets in my head, it is hard to get out!:ouch:

Most crap now a days
party rock,
sexy and i know it..
rak city * I dont know if its called that*
most nikki manage songs.
most tyga songs...
etc..
Most dubstep ... * im a huge dnb fan and i see dub step as a soul less beast.. considering iv heard some dnb songs that work in harmony with acoustic guitar.. and dub step originated from drum and bass *

I think you'll find dubstep originated from UK garage, and had hardly anything to do with dnb.

The worst song ever heard is "La bamba triste" by Pierre Billon. Some kind of French Chuck Norris, trying to sing some stupid lyrics.

I've found a new contestant (and it's not Nickelbck's "Next Contenstant", though that is pretty bad). It's called "Little Boxes". I have no idea who sings it, but it's supposed to be about how housing developments in the 1960s and 1970s all looked the same. Anyway, I heard a version of it today sung by a woman with a very shrill voice who is ever-so-slightly off-key.

No way?

I mean yeah she doesn't have the most pleasant voice and I wouldn't listen to it in my free time but it's a classic and I can absolutely see why.

It was covered about a hundred billion times (many for the intro to Weeds)

Not defending it just surprised to see it come up. There are sooooooo many really TERRIBLE songs out there.

What depresses me is what a large percentage of them were released within the last two years...

Since this is GTPlanet I'm going to go ahead and throw out there that this "Daiki Kasho" band in the GT5 soundtrack makes me want to put a nailgun to my ear holes. Funny how when you beat the GT World Championship and it rolls the credits it then awards you with...yet another song by this band. Grand prize!

I leave you all with this...

It's a real gud un! ; )

Maybe I was lsitening to a cover version. It was really shrill, slightly off-key, and it was being used as on-hold music when I was on the phone and the connection wasn't that great.

I didnt read the whole thread but worst song for me was when Eddie Murphy released a album back in the 80's with the title track and single "Party All The Time"....Yeecchhh !

The songs of Nickelback.
Yes, I read the title, ''song'' not ''songs'', singular, 1 song - but let me explain - everything this Band produces is actually nothing more than a remix of one single song. Listen to their stuff on youtube if you don't believe me or if you haven't had the questionable pleasure of hearing them in the radio.

Forget those songs, i think that song called "The Lisbon Maru" in GT5 is the most annoying!:ouch: I like every song in the game except that one.
"Beez in the Trap" by Nicki Minaj gets my vote.

It is complete ear rape.
Indeed it is!:ouch:

The new Will.I.Am song with Britney Spears is very, very terrible :yuck:
I just heard that one recently and man i totally agree with you! These mainstream singers are crazy nowadays!

That was mentioned earlier, to be honest it never occured to me he sang a song before intil i read this thread.
Any Nicki Minaj song.
Heck to the yes! I never did care to listen her from the beginning. Pity she is a judge on American Idol.👎:grumpy:

As an old friend of mine once said.. she's only in music industry because of her body.
