What sorta bike are you leaving from to go to the 1L? I've been thinking of a 600 CBR or an R6... not sure which one to go with though.

Real total: $184 - Not much but I'm not a big spender either.
Dream total: Just shy of $10k after I buy full frame lenses..

I'm not expecting much more than money this year, as my family knows about the Europe plans for spring. My dad has asked for a list of small items just because he doesn't like the idea of me not unwrapping gifts with the rest of the family, so I've sent him a list of things like discount PS3 games or books, what with Cyber Monday being tomorrow and all.

In all honesty, I'm more excited for the annual family seafood dinner on Christmas Eve. Great food, great company: it really is the main event for our family, as Christmas day is pretty low-key. I definitely have got to that point my dad told me about years ago though: I love the feeling of giving people gifts more than receiving them now, especially when you've nailed a good, thoughtful one.

They're all over Georgia. Gone for now though, because of the cold. They'll be back this spring.

I take a pellet gun with me when I go into the woods out back, just in case I see a poisonous one. King snakes are awesome though.

And also, I'm technically in Marietta, but it's Austell, for all intents and purposes.

ahh okay, Newnan/LaGrange (lake house) here (but I put road Atlanta/Braselton because of Le Mans, France, which is where I desperately want to live one day).

Yeah I generally just take a .20 GA and shoot anything that looks like a snake. A long worm if it looks close enough. King snakes I'll leave along. Got bit between the eyes when I was just a kid by some non-venomous snake. Sometimes I wish it were so I could whip out a real good Chuck Norris joke..

I got bit by a water moccasin a couple years ago. Panicked and ran home (Very bad idea, stay calm, keep your heart rate down. Walk.), had a nasty fever, went to the ER and got a shot.

Was $499 on Thanksgiving, and I showed my parents it, but they didn't buy it. Not only has it be unavailable since, but the t3i and 18-55mm lens by itself is $600 now. Oh well.

I have three different versions of it saved in my wishlist and set up for emails. And i'll be checking every day just to make sure I would have bought it myself but I wasn't sure how long the PS4/GTAV bundle would last so I bought that instead :/ and i didn't want to drop $1000 in one day like that. Oh well.

I'm a pretty minimalist person. I only ask for things that are kind of basic.

For the first time in a while, I got something that I sort of asked for.

My mom just paid for my laptop. It's a simple laptop, but I'm just grateful that I got it. There is going to be a major boost in productivity for me.

I also got this hat for about 30% off.

So.. I got two things that I wanted. I think I'll be fine for a very long time.

The R6 is a well balanced bike. Really fun, and great exhaust note. Honda.... too technical. Too perfect. Kinda like the Fireblade.

That helmet though... How many Predator look a likes do we need?

Just the one I pictured. Nitrinos makes great helmets, although they are freaking expensive.

Yup.

I'm got a couple of things that I've got my eyes on, though they aren't really Christmas presents as much as now is a good time to take advantage of deals, or is as good as anytime to buy it.

When you spend your own cash, every purchase throughout the year is a Christmas present to yourself.

A CBR600 Vs an R6. No doubt the Yamaha wins. But the same bike against a CBR600RR? Then you've got a good competition on your hands because a 600RR is just shy of being a Fireblade.

In that case I do buy myself a lot of Christmas beer!

Well it saves me having to sing without backing and my singing voice is atrocious. Really it does everyone a favour; the kids get music, I don't lose my voice every few days from singing.

The only other thing I want is tickets to Al Di Meola's 2015 Electric Tour USA. Because this upcoming tour will probably be the only time I'll ever get to see him play his electric guitars. Everything else-- gadgets what playstations and whatnot-- can be bought at any time.

Never really like Honda's... just my preference. They feel too perfect. Like an appliance for speed. They don't have character, like let's say a Ducati that says "Go on... I dare you!"

True. It looks pretty sweet but I've seen a lot that looks very similar to the predator. Overall I'd give it a 10 out of 10 for awesome and badass helmet design.
