What Is Your Fastest Car(s)

I have had a supra rz tuned to 1200hp about with about 40 oil changes

The R390 can go pretty fast with its 1200hp...I havnt tried how fast I can get it up to yet or the Zonda race car...They are both pretty fast...How can you get a supra to have that much hp?More than 1 oil change helps?

In my experience, more than one oil change doesn't do anything. The fastest non-wheelie I've gone was in a GT-One Race Car, which was 287.x MPH. After a lot of tuning and things, I've found what makes the most difference to make the car go fast ONLY (not handle) is to make the downforce on the car to the lowest setting (all the way to the left). I actually didn't try very hard, and I'm sure something that really knows what they're doing with gear ratios and other things could get it to 300+.

I did 293 in a draft with the escudo thats the fastest ive ever gone...

I hit 301 in the Escudo on a test run (i.e. no draft). That time I set up 5th to be used in the turns and 6th on the straights. My current "compromise" setup only uses 6th on the test course (so the other gears are closer together) and "only" hits 300. Some guy said he hit 305, but that might have been in a draft.

i got a speed 12 that goes up to 278mp\h

And The dodge viper GTS, did 281 and for some reason, It hit 285mph, until I ran out of straight, It only happend once, weird.
No cheats.

this has been a much disputed topic for soem time. What is the fastest car in Gran Turismo 3. Post on this thread if you have any ideas about witch car has the all out fastest speed for the test coarse. also post ur settings. hope to hear some good tunnings to get great speed.

Also, if you have a good racing formula or know where to get one, just post here. ya know, to help the GT community!
