What is your racing philosophy?

1. Practice, practice, then practice some more.

2. Compare my best lap with the regional Top10 stars.

3. Feel good about myself since I'm like 5% close to them

4. Realising 5% in racing is alot of time.

5. Take part in the race. See how I'm in the middle of the pack.

6. Race starts and something bad happens at turn 1. I'm at or near the end of the pack.

7. Rage quit.

1: Try not to die at Turn 1.
2: Try not to die when going for an overtake from the outside of a corner.
3: Try not to spin on corner exit.
4: Try not to die when entering the Bathurst pit lane.
5: Finish at least 1 place higher than the position i had at the starting grid.

Don't drive the META cars... Come mid pack but its not my fault its the car's.

I hate taking people out or bumping them so I lose positions at the start if it gets busy due to being a wimp.

1) Always race fair, try to not hit anyone, leave the space. ALL THE TIME YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE SPACE.
2) Consistent pace is way more important than quali pace. I tend to drive faster in the race than in quali.
3) Practice starts so you can get off the line well. I have won many positions only because of start practice.
4) Test strategies out and go for the faster tactic. If you're at the end of the pack go for a no-stopper.
5) If someone overtakes you, try to hang on, stay behind him and study where you are stronger. Then try to overtake him a few laps later. Preferably in the last lap so you can't get attacked yourself ^^

I stopped joining online races long ago after getting rammed out a lot of times but when I used to, I did not qualify to start at the back and see how much I could move up my position.

In 5 points or less, describe your approach to racing in GT Sport in the sport lobbies.

1. I use the entire width of the track when possible.
2. If I screw up my line I will try to maintain the line I've put myself in as a courtesy.
3. I consider weaving and blocking as my cue to pass as I see fit, penalty be damned.
4. I can't think of anything else.

I think mine are pretty straight forward, how about you?
My strategy is stay away from the beer until after the race

1. Practice first.
2. Never race the city tracks.
3. Never expect anyone to race you cleanly.
4. Never expect logical penalty detection in Sport Mode
5. Race Clean or Kick Lobby rooms if you want to avoid 2, 3 & 4!

- Rather be consistent in the race than starting on Pole Position
- You're not racing against others, you're racing the car you drive and the track you're driving on
- Pace yourself and pressurize the car ahead and force him/her into a mistake
- Try to get through lap 1 cleanly, then manage the race from there on
- Shortshift when possible

1, Enjoy myself.
2, Ignore stats/ratings/rank.
3, Forget about respect, not there.
4, Fight fire with fire.
5, Ignore/block message abuse.

Did my first sport race today in at least 6 months. 2nd place from 9th. Bump, bump, bump. I just do not care one bit.

I just want a bit of fun, this game sapps much out, but after shelving my respect for a game I feel is bad, just having a blast. I target crude liveries too.

Was actually a bit of a rush, only nicked 2nd on the 2nd from last corner too. They were pissed!

Good, I was too once, get over it!

I forgot one, key too. Read Sven and learn how to game it all properly too. Thanks!

1. practice and eat before entering the race
2. minimize battling through T1
3. pass clean or don't pass at all, pressure works best
4. defend hard without blocking/weaving, staying on the racing line is not blocking
5. use radar
6. be consistent

most importantly, have fun and don't take yourself too seriously.

I was having a clean race at Fuji in Gr.2. See this guy driving a default livery Tom’s RC-F. Divebombs me into a corner and nearly spins me out, then proceeds to hit off another driver in front of me. Needless to say I took him out at the hairpin on the bottom of the uphill section near the end. He flew off into the wall and exploded while I continued my race. 100% justified in my opinion.

I've never seen that!

When did they add damage/explosions? That's pretty cool. Gonna have to jump on and try this now. Oh, baby!
