What kind of credit spender are you?

Are you?

A slow spender that saves credits and only buys the cars you like and are gonna use?

A spender that just spends the right amount to complete the collection.

A fast spender that cant wait to spend all those credits in 1 go?

Not concerned with spending as cash was never a problem for the sheer amount of time spent on Tokyo, but also not buying every car, especially not multiple times for any possible reason, just as many as I needed for different ways of modification to use that specific car on a specific event.

I spend money on what I like. I haven't done any grinding in a while, just because my GT7 time has been limited for the past month or so. If a car I want shows up in either the UCD or LCD, if I have the credits for it, I will pick up what I can. Sometimes, I will wait for a certain color combo, like the 911 2.7 RS in white/green. It all just depends. By now, I have pretty much all the cars I want, so I'm really just getting duplicates when they do show up.

I don't know how to spend my credits (I already own all the cars, bought all the rims, and all the paints....)

Just because, I sometimes re-buy cars that have a lower mileage that the cars I currently own.

Not really spending for a long time whilst I waited to buy all the 20m unicorns from the LCD.

Circuit experiences and Time Trials gradually allowed me to buy all the UCD cars at the beginning, and every new update from then going forward.

Now that I have all the road cars in the game, offline races and TTs steadily provide enough credits to start playing with full customisation, setups and engine swaps.

So, to answer your question. At the start I was a quick spender and now I'm a slow one

Right now, I only spend moneyto keep my wallet from maxxing out. I'll buy a couple mil worth of cars so I can collect my Time Trial money. Rinse and repeat every week.

I spend pretty much everything on tuning the cars I obtain. Yeah... I like to cap out my cars for events. I'm not very skilled but I love the game.

I rarely have over 1M unless I'm grinding credits quickly to get a Legend or an expensive car.

My credit plan is:
  • Buying more recent cars that are interesting for me (Updates Legendary and used cars)
  • Not spending credits in useless VGT cars (i got only 3)
  • Selling cars that i don't use
  • I am not intenting to complete the car collection...
  • Entering in TT and weekly chalenges are nice way to earn credits
  • Custom races with some 'tunning' gaves always some serious winnings

I am a systematic buyer.
First I collect all the gift cars.
In the meantime, I spend my credits on cars that are especially useful and good value.
If I get an invitation for one of the brands, I buy those, because you may have to wait a long time for the next invitation.

Then I start to collect:
  • First all pre-2001 UCD cars.
  • Next the LCD cars.
  • Finally the remaining BCD cars.

I also systematically earn credits to avoid grinding. This is for me the best way to avoid bore out with the game.

Until last weekend I was a slow spender, my goal was to reach 100 million credits but I bought some cars I liked and spent some money modifying them. Also, if I could, I bought the cars needed to complete extra menus.
Now I'm buying those Legendary cars I want, starting with the 911 GT1 and the P1 GTR. My aim now is to complete the collection, starting with the 20 million credits car I don't own yet (Cobra Daytona, 300SL racing, 250 gto an the 30s Alfa)

Interesting question.

I guess I fall under a little of all 3 as I like to save my credits till I grind back to 100M and then spend it all at once rinse and repeat. :)

I had the chance to play some gt7 before i get mine ( 7-8 months before buying my ps5 ) in a small " friend " that leaving upstairs and make him as birthday present the gt7.
Also i was informing every day about the game in gt planet and when i start the game i knew very well what I MUST NOT DO mostly.

I unlock griding races in 19 hours mostly with cars that game provide me and trying to have a high mark of 40 millions as a budget .

I leave aside ALL cars i could buy from dealership and focus on USD and LCD.
I NEVER let an invitation to pass by ( huge mistake to do such a thing ) and start with lower prices LCD cars.
I left for last ALL the expensive cars from dealership which was mostly electric VGT's or similar crap till get them all .
During this process i almost never was without credits and almost a year ago am close to 100 millions and buying double cars from LCD mostly road ones since race cars don't have any permanent upgrades.

Also after collecting all cars i start buying invitation cars 3-5 from each model when the wheel allow me and it's a long time that i don't need ANY invitation.

Stopping daily griding monts ago am buying copies from cars i like , swapped many of them just to have them and buying some unicorns to make space from 100 millions for new credits.

If i had to put my self in a category, then i could say i am a wise spender.
Never left my self broke and always had more than 40 millions just in case and never be in a rush to get something.
That in brief ( short of 😂 )

PS
Swapping with expensive engines or buying 20 million cars without even be at level 50 , it's a big mistake for someone who targeting to buy all cars .

Interesting question.
🤣

Now that my car collection is complete and that I am regularly close to 100M I buy some expensive car here and there to keep enough margin to not loose any credit I may win.

I am not gaining a lot of credits by playing :
  • a bit from TTs where I mostly get bronze and silver and sometimes gold
  • a bit from weeklies
  • a bit from DW tickets
  • crikets for playing online (but is is the most fun part)

So I may be buying a unicorn every month, not much more.
And I spend some credits to buy cars I've sold in the past that are not in my garage anymore, when I need one for a online lobby (or in case I'd need it later). Plus some credits for tuning, wheels, paints...

Pretty much the same here. I'm to the point that I'll buy something expensive when I get close to the cap.

Lately, I bought the two Countach models to run the Historic races with minimal upgrades. The ones I bought previously have permanent mods and I can't get them to 580pp without neutering them to the point that they're no longer fun to drive.

I used to be frugal, not letting credits dip under a certain number. Then, 6 GT's later, it dawned on me it's all pretend money so theres no need to save. Now, if I want it and I got the money, I get it. I always find myself having everything I WANT, at a certain point so the money just piles up after that. Thats why I don't grind.

First priority was buying all cars starting with the cheapest to build the collection the fastest. Then all the paints and alternate race livery cars. I then started to collect all the used cars in colors I didn't have yet. Now I'm building to 100M credits (23 to go) and then I will probably be done with GT7 only to login after an update to collect new items.

Price of cars have increased over time, except the 20M unicorns (and still... may be some were cheaper at the beginning I don't remember) you should buy the expensive ones first, in case they go up in price with time.

Yeah, the 911 996 GT1 Strassenversion 1997 was the biggest jump I can recall. I got it for 3M, up to 10M now? Keeping me from getting a second. That's chikane_gtr money there.
