What kind of tire produces the most smoke?

i think the smoke is related your angle during the drift sorry if im wrong

I don't think so;

When on very slow speeds yet in huge angle, smoke may not appear...

ok, that sounds more like a heath hazard more than anything. cuz im sure the vapores arent great for you. but i would think r tires would be best, but in gt4 it probaly doesnt even really marter. But in gt5 they will probaly make it more realistic Those colored smoke tires are awsome too, did see them in the fast and furious 3 though.

when u look out your back window on a rally course u have a HUGE cloud of smoke behind you..

when u fire up your escudo it also gives a little cloud of smoke from standing start on a racing course.

so my test is try this:

escudo with n1 and r5 tires and look with one gives the most

1.
rally cars on rally course gives the most smoke/dirt cloud
2.

I think the rally tracks(specifically dirt rally tracks, I'm not sure about snow rallies) have different settings for the "creation" of smoke/dirt as it is kicked up. I think that is why there is more smoke/dirt that is kicked up on these types of tracks(El Capitan seems to have more smoke than other tracks)

I also agree with Delphic Reason on his post. Wheelspin does create a lot of heat.

I think that DR was talking about soft tire compounds creating more heat, wheelspin wasn't mentioned.

No, because then cars doing burnouts in a straight line would produce no smoke.
