What pencil/pen/kugelschreiber/stylo do you use?

Anyway, I just ordered some Navy ink G-2 pens on ebay. Why isn't navy/blue-black more popular?

Yeah, really. What's up with that? Has navy become old school or what? I find it so much easier on the eye.
It's the new wave of cyber-black taking over. Black is in. Everything.

Posted this on Rotrings Facebook wall because I'd like them to make a decent pen case.

👍 👍

Are you talking about the Uni-ball Jetstreams? If so, yes I've got two of them. They do feel nice and comfortable, smooth, but you can't help but feel that you are using a fancy biro; it just doesn't feel the same as a rollerball. I will say however that I feel it is better than a normal ball-point.

No. There's a website called jetpens. They make pens, and I think they take popular refills.

My pencilcase got stolen at school. :( Just bought another Kuru Toga, a Pentel Sharplet-2 and a P205.

Hate when that happens.

But, how are you sure that it was stolen? Maybe it was misplaced? Appropriated by accident? Stealing someone's pencil case is pretty shabby - not that any kind of stealing has honour attached to it. Well, okay, if one was to steal something back (that was stolen in the first place) or to recover something that was in a bad place to begin with . . . but this is just a pencil case we're talking about, not the Pink Panther.
The thing is - a pencil case, and its contents is so personal. Like a pair of spectacles. Or underwear.
Sure, you might have a Colibri in there, or a Waterman, but still . . .
Plus, a pencil case can be spotted - so the person who stole it can't very well use it in the same environment that it was stolen from.
Hmm.
I'm stumped, Watson.
Well . . . we can only hope for the best, and hope it appears again - and if it does, I'm sure you will be very, very happy.

Only stationery people make get the point of this post. Others will probably move on. :)

I use cheap ballpoints that you throw away when they stop working.

Haven't used an enpitsu (Japanese for pencil, in hiragana it is えんぴつ maybe written in kanji but I know about 10 kanji at the moment. I like the word because it almost sounds like pizza.) for ages.

My favorite pencils are the generic ones that you get at the dollar store in an 8-pack for a dollar twenty-nine, with erasers that go quickly but still last longer than a Goodyear tire.

I recently got this, just in blue:

It's lovely to write with. :D

For a pen I use a cheap BIC because it's good and cheap.
As for pencil I use those black and yellow Stadtler (spelling?), usually 2HB

I will never pay for a writing utensil. The moment I pay more than 50p for one I lose it. The more expensive it is, the quicker I lose it. Free pens never disappear. Isn't it weird how that works?

I misplaced it and when I came back to get it, it was gone.

In other news, just bought some pencils, including a rotring 500.

By the way, those navy G-2 pens that I ordered really suck. They barely write and the regular blue looks better on paper than Navy.

Mitsubishi-Uni-Ball Signo 0.7mm Gel Pen
Mitsubishi-Uni-Ball Jetstream 1.0mm

I've had the Jetstream since the time I joined GTP, and the Signo last month.

The past year in school I've use a BIC Atlantis mechanical pencil. Job done well for not too much money. I think I bought a 20 pack or something.

Pretty much my pen for everything for quite a while. Bold, dries pretty quickly which is good for a left-hander, and very inexpensive. It may feel like a cheap pen, but they're smooth and just make writing much more pleasing.
I don't remember the last time I've written with a pencil. I probably wouldn't enjoy using once either unless it was a Ticonderoga. As a lefty, my hand slides across the paper a little too much and everything begins to smear.
