I mean: why buy the "strange"version at all? just buy the same car, only then sprayed!, and yes you can give every car an new look just like in NFSU 2

Download this movie(need that Divx)and see it yourself(look at the red car)
Okey , thanks đź‘Ť

There is no paint shop in GT4.

The only moment you can change the color of a car is before you purchase it at the dealer in GT Mode, or when selecting a car in Arcade mode. But you cannot change it afterwards. The japanese "black" LM cars are not even selectable in this color.

I would really love to be proven wrong though...

5% completed, or somewhere around there. 11 cars. not much so far, but i've only been playing for one weekend, haven't been able to touch GT4 at all this week :( School !! and midterms are coming up too :( worst possible time to get GT4 !! lol. mostly A Spec points though, have only done 2 BSpec races so far  later-

Explanation for day 694 follows, it's a bit of a spoiler so don't read it if you want to find out yourself.

...

On day 694 in the Used cars lot B you find black 'test' versions of four racing cars, namely the R390, 787B, Gt One and R92CP.

They are only there for a week (until day 701) and carry a combined price tag of nearly 800,000,000 Cr (Jpn version), thus the need to stack up money. I'm at day 650 in the game.

More about this in this thread:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=52905
(late pages)

Oh no ... I'm very close to that day. The only way I can get 800,000,000 Cr is if I do a few 24 hour Enduros in a roll ...

I'm at about 58%, just opened up Extreme Hall after saving up my money by buying only 1 car for the Sport Truck Race..

7.5% just playing for 20 hours ,doing alot of pics ,of the cars that I have (which are all of the bmws),but I can't find the M Coupe , loving the M series race at the ring

around 26% for me :)

BTW for people wanting to make quick money... the 2 best races I know of are:
Citta di Almafi EASY
Grand Valley 300KM Endurance
The total prize money you get including selling the car is about the same for both competitions (with respect to the time it takes when B-Spec'ing the endurance).
If you're close to the special date to buy the 4 black cars, then I recommend doing the endurance since it only takes up 1 game day. To earn about the same amount of money from Citta di Almafi will take up around 10 game days (2 races x 5 times).

but maybe there's an even quicker better method that I don't know of :P

Its nice to know the endurances give you a reasonable amount of credits this time. On prevous games it was offen a long race and a stingy reward

56% or so, with 590 days in the game. Plenty of cars and around 350,000,000 in credits.

I'm currently running the Nurburging 24hour race, and I'll probably finish off the last 2 endurance races that i haven't finished yet soon. All I have left are the 2 Le Man enduros.

Extreme Hall is almost complete too, only Formula GT and the last one (with the M3 GTR and all that) left.

Once that's done, its back to Special Condition Hall and Mission Hall. The rally tracks are tough with the DFP!

I didn't know where to ask this exactly but, among all of you that actually have the game, is there a drift mode in the end? Not that I like it but there was supposed to be one so I'm asking this.

Thanks for the answers. :)

around 30%... but for those who have started enduro mode... whats the best car to start-off with? my 350Z LM can't keep up...

Well everyone seems to be moving through the game auite smoothely. Has anyone came across any really difficult races which has taken them a while to complete, or any tough challenges? Or has it been pretty much straight forward? I was wondering that too about drifting. I saw a video posted by Egghead i think and he was drifting. I never even tried drifting in GT3,but ................................

27%. About the toughest thing I have passed has to be the Mission race with the Toyota 2000GT at New York. 3 laps to pass 5 cars and boy you need to be near perfect. It's a momentum car so it teaches ultra-smoothness.

26.2%, I've had the game since Dec 31, but we wasted about 12 hours playing arcade mode trying to get stuff unlocked before learning that everything must be done in GT mode. It has been a group effort between my friends and I, especially the license tests.

I have just over 100 cars, and just under 600M credits, currently getting close to day 694 so I'm building money up for the naked cars. Once I get them, I'll finish Professional Hall, and start on Extreme.

350Z LM should easily win Grand Valley 300. which gives the C9. the C9 should be enough to win nearly any race that have Leman cars on the grid

doing the Fuji 1000 would also get u the R92CP i believe.

350Z LM is more than enough to win Grand Valley, and then you get a Sauber Mercedes C9 which will beat just about anything in the game... 987PS after the oil change, stock.

EDIT: Doh, beaten by a couple of minutes...

Echo... haha... thanks guys... the only enduro I tried with my 350Z was the 150-mile Motegi oval... and after getting lapped on the 10th lap, it was evident i wasn't getting anywhere... how much do I get for selling the C9?

Grand Valley 300 is by far the BEST money maker in this game.

40 million for winning the race, and C9 is worth 74 million

with B-Spec mode, it only takes 40 minutes and u get 114 million

is the refueling all automated? meaning, can I just set it at 3 or 4, press the "pass/overtake" button, leave, comeback in 40 mins and presto? not too familar with races that require making pit stops...

pit stop is automated, ur car will automatically go into pit when the tire is in red or gas is running low

but once it goes into pit, it will go back into normal speed and not x3.

for Grand Valley 300, just using a stock JGTC 350Z GT500 with Super Hard tire is enough to lap competitors a few times by the time u finish the 300KM

Guys, is there any point to having all wins (gold cup icons) in a given hall or that doesn't affect completion percentage nor gives any prize car?

I have a couple of silvers here and there and I was wondering if I should bother redoing those racers to win them.

Yes - redo them...

And how much tuning have you done on them , and wich tuning options are already unlocked?

haha, got about 85 now at 26%, the used car lists are so cool. A few of the used cars come with a choice of NA tune, turbo or supercharger which is real good. My Lotus Carlton is probably my fav tuned used car so far.
