What Phone Do You Have?

Well I have a 2.0 Megapixel cam and that really is a great thing. Sure, the pics aren't superb quality, but 1600*1200 pics are good enough for many things : You can take a pic of a nice car, of documents in school/university, pics of friends etc. And now one Sony mobile phone even has a 3.2 megapixel cam.

I wouldn't want to miss my phonecam, I use it everyday, not just for fun, but as I said also for university.

That's quite impressive. My camera is so bad I can't even tell what half the pictures are when I look at them. I only really take pictures when I'm out at night with friends. The next day I'll show them the pics and be like "I think that's you there, that's looks kinda like me I guess, not sure who that is..." :sly:

Yeah, my old phone (Nokia 7250i) was like that. The pictures were horrible, even for viewing them in the cell phone. But the 2.0Mp camera on the W800 and K750 are awesome, I'm using it every day just like Max_DC said. It's not great for night shots although it has diode lights, but you can buy a separate flash device for it if you want. On daylight shots the pictures look great.

Nokia 3220 with custom fascia (the buttons broke )

It was like that but now it is a lovely turqouise.

Heh, that's my old phone. I still have it. Same colour too - i bought it on a different network to avoid the white and aqua.

Sony Ericsson K300i... damn, I feel poor comparing to you people, damn you Poland... The phone's really good though, it has everything I need

My older phones in chronological order:
Siemens C35i (don't laugh, I didn't choose that piece of ****, I got it as a gift)
Nokia 6310 (Hell yea, the panzer phone!)

The K300i isn't a bad phone. I just don't know why they kept the T610 buttons for it, not the updated T630 ones.

The K750i gets ever closer by the day. If I get a job thi summer it'll be one of my first buys, I can't stand this 0.3mega pixel camera anymore :yuck:

Perfect. :) My only complaint is I'll never be able to replace it, because the damn thing won't break.

Don't let that stop you :P. A rugby post and several 50ft drops didn't kill my 3510i.

Pako
Yeah, it is very strange. Guess what...I set it yesterday, didn't work but it worked this morning... :odd: Volume settings are at 7 which is max I think. I guess I should call my provider and tell let them deal with it.

Yeah this happens to me also. But what I did, was to create another wake-up time. Now the funny thing is that the first wake-up time I created, started working again and the second one I made, stopped going off

I think you should do that Pako...just create a new one to see what happens.

Ciao!

I still have my Sony Ericsson T610, via T-Mobil. :nervous: It's very old and I think I've had it for almost 3 years. Currently, I'm looking at the black RAZR from Verizon with a 1MP camera.

T-Mobil sucks dude...I had it for like 2 years and my cell dropped calls like crazy.
I'm with Cingular now. It has a better signal but it doesn't come close to Verizon.

Actually, with T-Mobile, I never drop a call. It's getting a signal though, that's hard. Coverage area of T-Mobile doesn't come close to Verizon or Cingular.

Phone that Jedi has, I think that's the one I'm hoping to get(for free). :D

P.S. What is up with the "2-Year" agreements? I used to get cool phones for free on the 1-Year, but now, almost every offer I can find are 2-Year. :grumpy:

Which is why you should go with Cingular and then buy whatever GSM phone you want online. :D Just swap the sim cards. :)

From current to first:

SonyEricsson K750i (personal) + Nokia 6310i (work)
Siemens SL65 (personal) + Nokia 6310i (work)
Nokia 6310i (personal) + Nokia 6310i (work)
Nokia 6210 (personal)
Nokia 6150 (personal)
Nokia 6110 (personal)
Motorola Star Tac (personal)

The Motorola was on Cellnet (now O2), but since then I've been on Vodafone.

As of today, an Orange SPV C500 :)

It arrived this afternoon, and i love it :D. I've unlocked it to O2, and everything bar the wap is working. I'll sort it though ;)

Have you ever transfered a PAC code? Pain. In. The. Ass.

It would be cool if you guys posted a picture, I have no clue what 90% of these phones look like.

Anyway, here’s mine:

Motorola SLVR L7

I like it, but the coolest thing about it? This is my current ring tone (fans of 24 should recognize it). :)

I've been shopping for a new phone, and this was one of the phones I looked at. Unfortunately, only silver was part of the deal I wanted, but black looks very nice.

I've never liked flip-phones and have never owned one. But right now, leading candidate is a black RAZR V3C like Jedi has, so I just might make a switch. Any advice or opinions, tabs?

Yes, my mum had to do it once. I just buy my phones on cheaper networks, unlock them, and put my O2 sim in. Saves a lot of hassle.

EDIT

This is what it looks like (not my picture)

I had one of them, untill i got a SPV C600. I also had an SPV, E100 and E200 before that, Although i want rid of the C600 as im getting a little bored. It does however offer alot of functionality for work with regards to tasks, reminding me about meetings, the proper internet, email facilities and syncing with Outlook.

Been looking at a Samsung E900 (only £20 to upgrade to) but im just a little worried that i have been spoilt with the SPV in terms of functionality and features.

I don't suppose you've ever tried the C500 on another netowork have you? It's becoming a right pain in the arse to get the GPRS working...

This is the W800, in case you don't know it too:

Sony Ericsson has some great looking phones, the K750i looks really nice, too. 👍

I've only had the thing for a week or two, it's alright so far. Most of the features are pretty basic, but the ability to load MP3's onto it is pretty cool; it even comes with headphones in case you still listen to Aqua and don’t want the whole world to know. The speaker is surprisingly loud, but songs don’t sound too great at full volume. The camera sucks, though. I know there are other features, but I haven’t had time to mess around with them enough to give impressions. Overall, it’s a pretty decent phone (probably the best one I’ve ever owned).
