Hi!

First of all, i like the game a lot. Nice graphics, (maybe to dark in the cockpit view), nice cars, very nice menu with a lot of useful informations.

BUT,

1) What the hell is going on with the tyres squeaking on the ground?!?!? I'm going straight forward and I still hear my tyres!!! You just turn by 1 degree and it sounds like you drift like Ken Block!

Very negative point! And moreover, you can't just turn that down, since it's linked to the FX Sounds (motor etc.)

Dear programmers, I really hope that you'll correct that, because GT 6 seems very cool, but I'll return it to the wal mart if I can't enjoy a good sound while playing it. The squeaking sound is FAUCKING annoying, really. I don't understand that your alpha and beta testers didn't hear that...

And all the cars sounds like a shop-vac... :(

2) B-Specs???

Thanks...

Marco

Or maybe the developpers don't care and just wanted to put this game on shelves. I'd love to get an answer from the developpers about what they'll do about this bug.

it's by far worse when I play on my surround sound system. On a normal tv speakers it's not that bad, which is I think how they did ALL of the testing for the sound lol.

There is a setting that I change to set it to a large home theater, I wonder if I go back and change that if it will make any difference! Anyone tried it?

Yes! It changes nothing! This setting you talking about is a modification of the dynamic range of sound. It means that if u set it to normal room, the dynamic range will be for example from 0 dB to 80 dB spl. If you set it to "theater" or "cinema", the dynamic range will be bigger, for example from 0 dB to 90-100 dB spl. So, even if you change this, the tires sound will still be there, and will be louder in fact.

It makes sense that the testers used normal tvs without surround system.

I personnally use my wireless bluetooth virtual 7.1 PS3 headphones, wich is a great product, and it's the same problem.

I tried to modify all the audio settings i can, but the tires are still stupid sounding.

The problem is that it's the wrong sound. I'm rocking along the pit straight in my Corolla on CS shoes, and with every twitch of the wheel, there's a screech. Tyres do make an increase in noise, as we all know, but it's supposed to be a kind of dull 'whoosh' sound as they deform slightly and the tread contact patch increases with flexion.

FFS PD.

What I find most annoying with the tyre sounds is not the way they sound, but the progression of the noise. Like what OP said, take a slight turn and it sounds like the rubber is being pealed off at 200mph...
