What will be the first car-track combo you drive in Project Cars?

I suspected the McLaren P1, as the La Ferrari was the Assetto Corsa street car for me, before I decided to take the PC-dive and move-on from consoles.

Track-wise I have no real plans, perhaps a global-tour with the P1 or something.

Career wise, whoever my first contract offer is from for GT4. Online, will be whatever my friends have picked amongst themselves. I'm just stoked to play it.

Zakspeed capri at Nordschleife
Zakspeed Capri at the 'Ring (sunset setting) - and with custom FOV.
You can't go wrong with that! :D

I might take the BMW 320 Turbo Gr.5 there myself. And yes, release day is a big deal even for (especially for...?) WMD members - we'll be playing the game for the first time then :)

Edit: Sunset sounds good. Oh, and I'll use my own in game livery :embarrassed:

After seeing a F1 test last week at Circuit de Catalunya I'll like to check it with Formula A and without last chicane configuration. But after this I'll try Imola with any classic sport car, maybe M1 Procar. ^^

I want to roleplay my own racing path and aspirations, so the first drive for me will be a production car (perhaps the Focus RS, 1M or Mustang) on one of the point to point road stretches, followed by some practice-only sessions at a club level track, such as Cadwell Park or Willow Springs.

Once I'm comfortable and ready for racing, I'll start my career with the Clio Cup and can see myself spending a lot of time in GT4 (assuming I like the way the cars drive) and would really love to find myself in the historics as often as possible!

I'm very impressed by the car and track list, but I think there could be room for a more club-ish entry level tin top series (under Clio Cup), but overall, very excited by the way career mode looks.

My first drive - and traditionally the first since the beginning - is the Ariel Atom at Oschersleben GP. Why? Because back in the day, Oschersleben was called Anhalt, therefore Anhalt and Ariel where alphabetically the first options in the lists. On Top of that, Oschersleben is a great track and located just 30 minutes from my hometown 👍

That's cool. I live an hour away from the track. :D

I think my first driving session is gonna be with either the Sauber C9 or the M1 Procar at Bathurst.

You all are going to laugh at this, but for my first test drive of the game I'm thinking cart and the track will be Nürburgring Nordschleife.

See told you, you would laugh. A lap should take about 12 minutes or so, maybe less because of how a cart will be able to corner without to much braking. I think the bumps will slow down a cart more than the corners. But this will be a great test of the physics of the game.

Yeah, I really want to hit the UK tracks in the Clio and do the Clio cup, before using either that or a GT4 handling bias car to learn all the other tracks like Zolder, Spa, etc. Can't wait!
