Whats the Deal with Paints in this game?

Hello folks, as i have yet to paint a single one of my 150 something cars, i just wondered if y'all would be so kind as to explain the paint system in this game.

Is it true you can only use a particular paint once?

Whats the big deal with these matte and chrome paints? folk over in the marketplace are goin crazy for them.

How do you get them? do you win them ? or do they increase incremently as you level up?

Yes. Well if you only have one paint chip of a certain color and you use it, it's gone. You can obtain that color again, but you need to find it.

I think they are rare. I've only received Matte Lime Green (ugly) and Matte Gray.

How do you get them? do you win them ? or do they increase incremently as you level up?

If you purchase a car or win a car that has a matte or chrome color then you also receive the paint chip of that color.

Damn that sucks about being able to only use the paint once. WTF pd why did you implement something as stupid as this.

Great so now i gotta run round chasing for paints too !

i can see the what all the fuss is about now.

I love the collecting part, hate the "use it, lose it" part.

@octaneblood : You get a random matte/chrome paint every 30 cars you bought/win.

I never paint any of my cars..... correction, I got rid of the hideous two tone gold Bugatti!

My Bugatti is Lime Green and Silver. It isn't the prettiest but I figure that just makes it more unique.

The paint chip system is fun, but I think it is a little much. Maybe only make certain colours limited use would be my suggestions.
