FF's can't do that, that's why it's a GAME, FF car's azz drag, and are forced to e-brake, there is no way for a FF car to have it's rear wheels slide out from behind it and remain in a foreward motion. There's alot more reasons why FF cars can't drift, but that's one reason. Yeah great some guy can do it in a 2D video game, doesn't mean it's REAL huh?

uhhh, where do you think we are? this is a Gran Turismo forum...of course i was talking about the game. any idiot would know FF's cant do that in real life

lol

my first car that halfway slid was my RX-7 RS..my first drifter was a Lexus..I did 3 races in it and moved on to my best Drifter to date....(6 hours ago:lol: ) but ne way it's my best one..I'm still learning how to drift and recover from wrecks..next time my friend bumps me I'll twist right around an bump him back...he he he( evil laugh):mischievous:

ff cars can drift the "same" as any other vehicle
Explain to me how an FF gets around a 180 degree corner in 1 motion...

1st off its 3-d,
It's 3d? Then tell me if it's 3d how is it projected onto a FLAT surface? If it was 3D there would be 3Dimensions, are there 3 Dimensions? In the design Scheme yes, in the actual game, hell no.
2ndly were talkin bout a game dip****
IT's funny how "certain" people are forced to resort to name calling, pretty infantile, anyway, we're talking about a game. Funny, the title of this thread is
What's the first car you successfully drifted with?
No where does it say "THIS IS STRICTLY ABOUT THE GAME" does it? As you can see there are quite a few people that have posted what their first drift was completed in IN REAL LIFE. It's amazing how impecable your reading comprehension skills are.

ok driftser... you obviously are disregarding the rest of what i said, and the fact that same was in quotes...

i said at wide slip angles ff drift can not be sustained like other drivetrains... however if the car is going slow enough into the hair by utilizing smaller slip angles the car will go faster than if using no slip angles...

anyways... i was not claiming that ff can exhibition drift like fr or mr or 4wd... i was just pointing out that ff can loose grip just like anyother car... that is what i meant by "same as any other car"... sustaining a demand of traction that surpasses the limit of the tires in ff is not possible... and the length of time that the ff can "drift" is a function of slip angle, velocity, tire friction coefficient, and TIME... as i said before...

before you attempt to disrive some one please read the whole post... i too believe that ff drifting is infact ass dragging because its ass does absolutely nothing but support the car so its ass doesnt drag on the ground... however if you had and ff car and aws... you might have soemthing other than ass dragging going on... wouldnt be as pretty as fr drift... but it would make ff cars a whole lot more fun to drive...

JDM, watch the language and the temper.

Driftster, watch the temper.

And for the record, they may not be drift champions, but real FWD cars can sure as heck oversteer. If I'm cornering hard in the ACR, in a low gear, lifting throttle will bring the back end right around as nice as you please.
