Simple. Name one feature/option/ability/mode/etc that you would like to see in a future patch/update of Forza 4, or something you would like to see added into a future Forza release.

For me, it's a relatively small thing, but I would really love to be able to watch/save replays after racing in the Splitscreen mode.

I have been a long time Playstation fan, ever since the PS1 way back when, and also a huge Gran Turismo fan since GT1. I have just recently purchased my first Xbox360 as well as Forza 4(Black Friday deals for the win:D). When I first got Gran Turismo 5, I was quite upset that there were no two player split screen replays, and that you couldn't save them. I was glad they added that feature in an update later on.

Now I am hoping that Turn 10 could add this to their game. If they could add two player split screen replays, as well as the option to save them, then this game would be my all time favorite racing game. Despite this missing feature, I am still having more fun with Forza 4 than I am with GT5. Mainly because of the choice of cars, as well as the expansive customization possibilities and variety of events to race in.

Anyway, that's what I would love to see added. How about you?

The ability to add better gauges, I want to be able to install MoTeC/Stack dash clusters, boost gauges etc.

My request is replay related as well; better transport controls including a (fast forward) and the ability to access the "Race Results" list of contestants and lap/race times for every replay, even saved ones.

My wish is kinda humble, I think... I just want to widen my cars a bit. I don't even need some fancy wide body kits, just some generic fender flares, really.

Widening the stance does so much for improving a cars look. It makes the car look so much more aggressive and track ready... And it usually helps with performance, too. This is especially lacking for some of the older Japanese cars, in my opinion. AE86s and S30Zs need those things, desperately. And a Miata looks a lot better with them, too...

-A local leaderboard that includes your best laps in every classes of cars. Probably very simple to do and much enjoyable.

-Customizable single races and championships like PGR4

-The usual more tracks.

Thats it!

Similar to in GT4, the ability to change wheels to other stock style wheels. However, there could be some guidelines to allow for a bit more realistic applications.

The way it could be set up is this:
1) Can only change to other stock wheels that are the same diameter or larger than the wheels on the car you are installing them on.
2) Can only change to other stock wheels that have the same number of lug nuts and one size larger (namely for the 4-bolt to 5-bolt conversions).
3) Can paint the stock wheels, however sticking with the guidelines for the aftermarket wheels, chrome wheels cannot be painted.

My reasoning is that there are so many cool stock wheels that would look good on other vehicles, such as the black spoked GNX wheels and the gold spoked Trans Am GTA wheels. Plus allowing for color change means you could match the spokes to the body color, like several companies did back in the early 90's.

Mine is something that many would classify as "pedantic" or "anorak-y" or whatever it's called these days...but I would love to have access to a car's options list when you buy it.

The main reason why is down to transmissions, because of course many cars have only been sold with automatic transmissions or manual transmissions. As much as I like using a manual and clutch, I don't find it realistic when I have to use the clutch even if the car is a clutchless DSG or tiptronic like that in a Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz or Volkswagen.

The other thing stemming from the "options list" idea is that you could spec up sports packs, factory bodykits, bigger wheels or even different interior trim colours (I'm thinking Test Drive Unlimited style here) to tailor your shiny new car to what you want it to look and feel like. Could even tie it in with the PI system so that the packs you specify for it can affect the performance points of the car, for example putting on the Performance Pack for Mercedes AMG models or NISMO packs for your Nissan 370Z or R34 GT-R.

I like the Options List idea a lot. They've added some sports aero options, which is a nice start at least.

My wish seeing as others have been covered is a mix of what we have now regards paints and GT5's chips. Here though, I'd like to see each colour available on cars you buy on a separate tab to the paint options we have now. With names would be even better. One thing I've always liked about GT is they have the paint names. Would make it easier to use BMW's Laguna Seca Blue on other cars for example. It gets a bit tedious having to paint the donor car again in that colour just to add it to your 'previously used' tab.

simple one

Inform you which cars you already have in your garage when browsing Auction House, so you dont buy duplicates (ala GT5)

More 80's hot hatches i.e Peugeot 205 GTi, Escort mk3/mk4 RS Turbo, Renault 5 Gt Turbo, Fiesta XR2 etc

-Matte Paints
-Track creator, they executed the livery editor perfectly, add a track editor of the same quality, T10 has a masterpiece!
-Icon/symbol on cars in garage that you have already tuned. (Maybe this one is just personal, since I do not tune every car, after a 100+ I tend to forget)

Whoops that's 3.

I'd like to be able to have the telemetry available to external devices! so I could use my leo bodnar board for example, or use the data for something else..(devices, 3d motion)

So would PD and EA I bet. ;)

A track editor would transform FM5 although one would have to be dedicated to create all that trackside detail out of vinyl shapes, LOL.

As for me I wouldn't mind if they integrated the auction house and buy cars screen in the way that online retailers like amazon list multiple new and secondhand sellers for their items on the same page.

VHT levels of traction, a working tree, and show (at least) trap speed in drag races.

2nd runner up: Auto-select proper transmission per the car.

3rd: Let me change out the fugly BMW chrome grilles for BLACK please!!!!

The ability to use cars from your garage for AI cars in private races, or at least the ability to auto upgrade them like in normal single player. It would be like a limitless extension of single player being able to do various championships.

- Real drag racing (pro and sportsman trees, staging, burnouts, time slips, etc.)
- Interior rear view. Yeah, it makes it harder to see behind you, but there's much more immersion.

1. I would love to see the weather effects from PGR4, F1 2011, or Dirt 3 in Forza F5.

2. Day / night would be nice on some of the tracks but it doesnt have to be on all tracks.

Qualifying in online lobbies.

It should be a basic component of any racing sim.

There is a way to do this in private lobbies. When your group gets together let them practice or whatever you guys do. Then reset the lobby and set the winning options to best lap time. You guys can stagger your starts or whatever it is you want to do. When the race is over you guys will be in order of lap times or if you want, crossing finish line or however you want to do it. Then start your main race and everyone will be in qualifying order.

Not as pretty as a dedicated traditional qualifying system but does the same job. I'm pretty sure it works in user hosted public lobbies also.

Racing rules that can turned on and off.

Drive though penatlies, safety car, point deductions, black flags, and pit girls.

1, more real life tracks
2, night racing (there was a couple of night tracks in forza 1 so I dont see it being much of a problem
3, better in car animation for 900 degree wheel users or at least the ability to remove the wheel from view like in iracing
4, laser scan the tracks to make them more accurate
5, aston martin DB7

Balanced PI is a must for future Forza titles.

Things like more cars, tracks, night/weather will come when the time is right, I have my faith in Turn 10 for those features, but a balanced PI will make the game last alot longer.
