I searched for this one but came up with nothing. I just wanted to know what the importance was of tuner village if the parts you can get from your dealer are the same. Is it just for the cars that each company in tuner village sells?

thanks

You should search more... someone's probably going to close this as a useless thread.

But as an answer, tuner village is a site where you can buy tuner cars... that's the primary reason, but also, if your car is a popular make, or is a japanese car with performance potential, you can buy the stage 5 turbo for it and/or the original suspension.

Stage 5 Turbo gives you almost exactly the same power as Stage 4 (sometimes more, sometimes less, I think), but has a more linear power curve, thus, makes your car faster even IF it doesn't give as much hp.

The Original Suspension has more travel rate, more height settings, bigger camber values and a simpler damper setting system than a full-racing suspension.

Unfortunately, there is not much tuning going on in the Tuner Village.

It is just another way to add more advertising to Gran Turismo.

 That's a good way to put it.

But that advertising helps pay for the product, so we really can't complain.

Frankly, I'd like to see more Euro and American tuner cars in the next GT. They made a nice start with the Buick Special, the HPA R32, the Shelbys and the Callaways, but I'd like to see Lingenfelters and Venoms in there... :D

They have AMG and M... Gmbh would be nice, as well as the 9ff, Brabus, Schnitzer and Carlsson (euro-bling!), oh... hell, throw everything in!

so do the parts actually make a difference? other than the stage 5 turbo and orginal suspension..

I find stage 4 turbos and racing suspension to be better. 👍

BTW what do they mean by original suspension/turbo. Did it come with the car?

It's search time gentlement. All of these questions have been answered in spades. Especially tuner village.
