What's this worth? (Ferrari part)

Hi guys, been a while since I posted here. I have in my possession the rear bumper to a Michelotto tuned Ferrari 458 GTLM. I valued it too highly, I guess because the eBay ads attract no more than 10 views in the 2 week period of sale.

So if you could give me your best informed estimate of what this is worth, that would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance!

Not much.

Clean it up and hang it in your living room. Great conversation piece.

Well, it's kinda broken from what I can see. I get it fell off the car after a random minor incident on the track, so nothing too special. Yeah, hang it up on your wall unless someone offers a 6-pack for it.

An enthusiast in Poland is offering me at least 550 for it but shipping to get it there costs even more than that. Guess I'll do anything I can to make this offer work!

I'll give ya $60. I'll hang it in my garage.

How did you get this thing anyway?

Unless it's off an iconic team car (which none of the 458 cars are really), it's not going to be worth more than a few hundred dollars in that condition. If you're generally curious, register & ask at Ferrarichat. There are guys there with lots of experience with the Ferrari race teams & they can tell you the real value; someone may even throw in an offer.

Personally, I'd keep it as an enthusiast. As Zenith said, it's a great conversation piece.

An ex-girlfriend whose dad worked in racing gave it to me. I had wanted to keep it, but difficult memories made me wanna part with it. I have school expenses and a project car as well that I wanted to fund. Guess this won't help out too much.

I'll check out Ferrarichat and see if they have any insight. Thanks for the suggestion! I may end up just keeping it. It's not from any iconic car, but the fact that it's a Michelotto part makes it more desirable than something straight from Ferrari.

Interesting that it has the standard ALMS "GT" ID, but also the "Am", which is a WEC/ILMC or ELMS thing.

Perhaps it was from Petit Le Mans 2012, off of the GTE-AM AF Corse car?

The stripe makes it almost certainly an AF Corse part, but the badging is... Strange.

Somebody ran a Motegi-sponsored Ferrari in the ALMS last year... Risi? AJR? I wish it had tire branding on it...

Regardless, you should look at who drives GTE Ferrari's before writing it off. Keep it and get Bruni and Fisichella (former F1 driver) to sign it

That is so cool. If I was still single I would buy it. Best of luck with the sale and getting a price.
