What's Your Biggest "Curse"?

Expectations turn out the opposite. Good night's sleep? Feeling great today? Think it will be a wonderful day? Wrong. It becomes a horrible day, either bad grades, pessimism, or something comes up. I wake up feeling horrible, look out the window and say, "🤬 you too, sun" and I get one of the best days of my life. Now I just keep a low attitude and hope for nothing so I don't get disappointed at the end of the day.

You make that sound like a huge deal, it isn't. And why does it impact responsibilities?

Hell, my father was 47 years older than me.

I see a lot of "first world" problems here :indiff:

As for me, my curse? Bad luck and dead family members.

It's complicated man. And you're right, it isn't a big deal and I'm just making a big fuss out of it. After some thought I understand that. I guess I'm just not grateful for what I have. Yeah, that can be added as one of my 'curses'.

Yeah, sigh, first world problems indeed.

Also, thanks for sharing your situation, abut the age difference between you and your dad. It's good to know, for me to reflect. So I appreciate that. đź‘Ť

And I'm sorry about your family man.

One of the things I don't like is how I always "feel" out of place. No matter where I'm at with people I just don't feel like I belong dinners and such. Thats what drew me towards driving because it's probably the only place/thing I feel comfortable doing. I'm 16 and really should have gotten over this by now but I guess I'll just stay in my shell for a while longer...

I think everybody is different, and while most people give in, conform, to be part of the group, some just keep to their own principles and beliefs. We stick out.
