dont mean to hijack but im in the same boat as far as a stand. i had a playseat, but the pole in the middle got in the way, was too low and it wasnt very comfortable so i got rid of it. only problem is, if you want a cockpit style seat that makes it true sim-like, it will cost big $$$$$ at least $500+. i was looking for a true happy middle. a stand that is sturdy, heavy, foldable, adjustable AND looks good. id lick to just be able to fold it up with at least the wheel and shifter still attached and put it aside. id be playing on my main TV and wouldent have a dedicated screen so moving it around my living room sucks. steadiplay is too beastly.
