My $.02 on the wheelstand pro...
Just arrived yesterday.
Ordered one because the stand I built is super heavy and not easy to make go away when I'm done using it.
Made it out of 4x8 lumber. Solid as a rock for gameplay. Love how it feels.
Wheelstand pro is also VERY well built and certainly a lot more attractive than my DIY.
the stability on left-to-right movement is great. Not perfect, but not an issue. FF 10 its a bit more bothersome, but tolerable.
My biggest beef is the front-to-back movement.
Its quite distracting. Its something that ill have to get used to.
Maybe with enough time on it it will become less annoying

Just thought about this post again; yeah sounds like the same problem I had. You for sure need to tighten those bolts on the vertical clamp. If you email WSP guys they will tell you the exact same thing. Plus FFB 10 shouldn't make any difference whatsoever unless they shipped it to you with the bolts not super tightened.

I just used my WSP with T500RS set to FFB 100% on a racing sim last night and didnt have this sort of issues. Granted, my WSP is a little heavier than the standard models to support this heavy wheel I have but beyond that the differences between our stands are minor. After all, I looked at the films for all the other models when I was tightening my clamps and they all seem fairly identical (esp G27 Deluxe stand in particular I just lack the extra shifter mount obviously)

I use a WSP with a Logitech DFGT. I was very apprehensive before purchasing as it didn't look very stable but I have been very pleasantly surprised! Very well built and I love the mobility. When not in use it takes 30 seconds to fold up and store out of sight.

Its been a couple weeks of using the WSP. I have reached the point where the natural flex of the upright 'pole' isn't a factor anymore.
Remember, the diy I was using was a beast made of heavy lumber with not a mm of play in it.
Anyway, I've really grown to love the wsp. In fact, that the wheel has the ability to tilt is the deal closer for me. My version was obviously fixed.
I feel a whole lot better about the purchase now.
I also just recently did 2 18" bunjee cords on the brake pedal of thw dfgt. Great ghetto solution to the crappy pedal feel

Thinking of placing an order for a wheel stand pro, at the moment my DFGT is mounted on a piece of wood which goes around the front of my chair and clamps to the arm rests on each size of the chair. It works well but it can be awkward and uncomfy.

Got my WSP(deluxe model) begin of the week, did some hours of racing/drifting(GT5 max FFB) on it with T500, and I have to say its a really stable stand I have had no problems with it moving or wobbling so if you are still searching for wheelstand you will not go wrong with WSP.

Just ordered a wheel stand pro for my gt3rs v2 and clubsport pedals. Not being able to hard mount the pedals on the rennsport was a dealbreaker for me

Also, I have a wheelstand pro for my t500 rs and must say its great. There is very minimal movement from the stand, even with the very heavy t500 wheel base
👍

Can't say anything about the Fanatec, but my Wheelstand Pro arrived today and my wife and I set it up with the DFGT and she's racing the 'real track' seasonals with it atm. We both think it is really well made and worth the purchase. Now we're going to fight over whose turn it is even more than before. :sly:

So add my 👍 for the WSP.

Just bitten the bullet and ordered a Wheel Stand Pro Deluxe. I was going to go for the Rennsport but a few comments swayed me to the WSPD, also didn't fancy the prospect of potentially having to wait ages.

Just a quick post on my experiences with the wheel stand pro.

First one was ordered a few years ago and is now used with my gt3 rs v2 and csp.
As I have hard mounted the csp's to the base I decided to get another wheel stand pro to use mainly with my xbox wireless wheel that's modded to use the g25 pedals but also my spare g25.
Delivery to the UK, ordered late on tuesday so was shipped form Poland on the wednesday and arrived this morning (friday) by 9am. Fanatastic delivery speed all round.
I cannot compare to the rennsport one as i haven't ordered one but can recommend the wsp as an ideal alternative to a full size cockpit when space is at a premium.

I will answer my own question. The standard clamps but holds very well considering.
The flex from the bar that holds the wheel is a concern but not really noticeable during play.
Happy about the purchase.
