When I was your age, Pluto was a planet.

Pluto should be 9th planet. Once you make a choice... stick with it. No do over or changing mind.

But people around here are stupid. Making last min thought.

So... HEY! IM ON NOBODY SIDE!

*run and hide*

Already exists - along with Uranium.

Yeah, I had a feeling it did. I'm not too sharp on my actinides. I do know that Uranium exists though (duh).

So, how about some other real planet?

Saturnium? Jovianium?

Anyway, Pluto is all frozeny methaney. One spark on Pluto and BAM! Big explosion. Just like on Titan.

Pluto throws like a girl.

Pluto is a girl:P

Pluto could've been a moon of Neptune, and it got lost, and started orbiting the Sun instead, and since i'm the youngest person i know of at the moment, i can't really say "when i was your age....." but when i will be your age, Pluto will be warm as it's coming to the closest point to the Sun, i've been thinking for a while, when i turn 13 (stupid invisionfree TOS:grmpy:) i will make a board on astronomy, i love astronomy, and i have about 10 books at home:), and i'm bored, i've read all of them, i want more books, all of them are old anyway, but still good:)

edit: Zrow

I was taught 9 planets in school, but Pluto always had an asterisk, since its orbit crosses Neptune's and it's not a gas giant like all the others out there. It's just improper, see, so update its classification to "other" and remove the asterisk. Much more modern, see?

I will do everything in my power (which is, you know, not much at all) to crush your little society, because you're just plain wrong. Clinging to the past is unhealthy, and a sign of a defense mechanism of some sort, perhaps because you're lacking confidence. Resume your medication, but at the correct dosage.

i was taught 9 planets at school last year! can you beleive it! last year! we had to make a model of the solar system with 9 planets!

common, Pluto is just another icy asteroid, or it is a moon, too small to be a fulll planet, it's about half the siize of our moon

This thread WILL save the earth, Pluto (IT DOES EXIST) will crash into earth thinking non of us give a crap but then it sees this thread & decides not to kill all those people who care for it. START CARING FOR PLUTO OR WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!

HOWEVER: Duck's kingdom is more catchy... How about MK1's World?

Which goes a long way to prove that those who can, do and those can't, teach.

Also I heard that Pluto said your physics teacher smells. Of wee.

OO im deffinately in. My physics teacher will go on and on about how pluto is a planet if u ask him.

Welcome aboard guys. TPD is growing stronger, thanks in part to you.

So far, TPD is sticking. C'mon fellas, think of something catchy.

I've always loved Pluto, but I'm sure if they never called it a planet before you wouldn't be angry. Of course, they never should have called it a planet, so I suppose it's their fault. Meh, I'll be a small part of this if you want. Stick to your main instinct after all, just why the backspace button should never have been invented, nor the edit button.

i miss pluto....i always had a dream of living there, but by the time the technology comes, that thing would just be forgotten...

Allright! History Lesson.

Way back when, we all thought weird things. Magellan's dudes sailed around the world. They proved it was round. They were shunned Vatican but eventually their idea was universally accepted.

Later, along came a fella called Copernicus. He and a few others created a society-like thingy where everyone believed in a solarcentric solar system. They were shunned by the Vatican, but eventually their idea was universaly accpted.

Then Keplershowed up and decided that the planets orbited the sun in near spherical orbits.

After a couple hundred years, a group of scientists decided that Pluto was not a planet. They were shunned by a certain group of certain people in the GTP community. But eventually, like previous theories, Pluto will go on to be accepted as a not planet.

The world goes on...

I cast my vote for renaming plutonium (Pu) to to saturnium (Su). If they wanted to keep the Pu symbol, I'll be fine with Ptolmium or Pythagorium.

Pluto is actually future-Lance Armstrong's surgically removed testicle.

You go right on ahead. I've got enough heart to take on you and this whole anti-defensive ministry you conjure up. TBD makes APDS pee in the bed.
