When the Photomonster barfed its BIOS settings

I never have a backup of anthing from the OS, I don't have anything important to keep, my software is mainly on disk so can be reinstalled at any point. As for important data, this is kept on a 1tb external (iTunes, photos, apps ect) and they have a back up on another 1tb external, if one fails I have a backup.

I will admit to looking at complete backup once I move home, I'm looking at pegasus raid NAS for it. One at the main accessed drive for both work and HTPC, and a secondary backup as just that, only a nightly back up of OS and stored files, all hard wired and in a fire proof and hopefully theft proof location.

But £4000 for the solutions I've been looking at is a bit high (£1800+ per raid array).
