When will GT Sport 2 / GT 7 release?

I was wondering when GT Sport 2 or GT 7 will release?

Thoughts

• The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is possibly going to delay the PS5 launch
• Polyphony will no doubt wish to release a new game outside of the FIA season
• When will we get some news from Polyphony?
• It seems Polyphony are going to release a new title rather than update GT Sport forever

I've voted Spring '21. If so, i'm guessing we have 12 months before they shut down Sports servers to force the jump, (as per GT5 and GT6). So get those miles down and enjoy Sport whilst it's still live!

If PS5 is backwards compatible I think it'll be released very soon into the PS5 release, but on PS4. With the player base of the PS4 it would be a no brainer to make it for PS4, but obviously playable on the PS5. But inevitably delayed until Spring.

My guess would be sometime during October or November 2021. I won’t trust any release date they give us until it’s downloaded on my console. It will probably be delayed if history is anything to go by.
