@GOTMAXPOWER @newmedia_dev

Fascinating reading this oil debate, personally I feel it’s a thing, to the point where I have a lot of owned cars with nice liveries, but nothing over a few thousand miles on the clock, I run rentals mostly, because I feel it’s brand new and will give me the best version of the car I want to race,

I’ve certainly felt when the car went just off enough to notice when racing but then again I’m not as good as you are and I reckon this can be driven through because the cars aren’t oil and steel, just simulations of it.

It’s a damn good simulation of the car needing an oil change, or not 😁

Oh no, Fuji is back again. But I'm not afraid. I just don't like some of the turns there.
Easily one of my LEAST favorite tracks so totally with you on this one. Can never get a lap entirely right no matter how many times I try. I know 'more laps' is the answer but, damn, zero motivation to even learn that place.🤣

I took a break from racing yesterday as I was making sooooo many mistakes around Road Atlanta, and ended up making more and more the harder I tried. I've done two today though and picked up a couple of wins and seem to have found a better flow through the last chicane - I discovered you can cut more of the left hand part than I thought, giving a slightly better exit up the hill.

I still have no idea how the top guys manage to get in 1:23s!!

Edit/ Tried qualifying again and scraped a couple of hundredths off round Road Atlanta but had an optimal time in the 1:24.38s

I did the nations this morning and a few last night at Atlanta.....and my wheel is rubbing my little finger 🤣 I'm 45 years old and it stings a little bit

I have no idea either how a .23 is possible, but my nemesis corner in the Evo is the one on to the back straight.

I just seem not to get the right line in to and out of it 😥

Edit: @mellofello9 it's one of my favs

I was behind an Evo for 8 laps - right on his bumper and he'd always pull out a couple of tenths on that long straight. He eventually got a track limit penalty and I squeezed past, then he got another on the last lap so I was able to breathe.

I still pretend I'm in my 40s

After having a complete mare this week at DF today has been amazing close clean racing, fell down to BC and couldn’t really get better than the 27.5 I have in QT but in the races it’s been a pleasure, making up 5-10 places per race and I did this in the supra. Defo the straight line speed is helping me here.

But its like driving on eggshells, having to be slow and steady in the corners and exit to stay competitive and also, taking some real care on the hairpin, it really is a case of try to race how you want to be raced against

That and a four pack of beer really helped me today 👌😁

after my racing session this morning i went in a managed to cut my qt down to a 26.1 at deep forest. i doubt i'll be able to improve on that, but hopefully it gets me to start up front tomorrow morning and maybe i can get a win before the week is out.

it would seem i didn't save replays for the more dramatic group racing i've had this week, but here is a couple laps from this morning that to be honest is not my best showing. it does however show reasonably well the type of races i have had this week. good spirited hard racing with everyone trying to be clean. i had a bunch of races with a lot of the guys in this clip today.

the video shows my view then the tv style view.

Daring/Excited to attempt some more Race C's tonight after the missus scoots off to work.

I haven't been online since Monday evening so I'm curious to see if the race pace/race craft has improved enough to get a fair and fun contest rather than attaining places through attrition, or losing them through saltiness and/or carelessness.

Quali pace obviously isn't a problem, and I'm not expecting to start in the top half of the grid, despite generally finishing around p5/p6 earlier in the week.

This weeks C is almost the perfect race, close cars responsive and the racing can be close without people randomly spinning.

It would have been perfect if it had some strat.

The races I've done today on C (US servers) mostly clean, lots of suicides my own included and a few "elbow" moments but it's a close GR4 race for whatever pace you have but nothing crazy.

My First Nations race today you'd have thought I was invading which ever country with the pushing and shoving (ignoring the idiot T1 dive bombs!)
