Why would Kaz mention a Japan only release on a live feed to other countries, surely like GTPSP the same release day would be mentioned for everyone.Unless the games are of different specifications.I got a bit of a gut feeling, GT5 will be out before HK, Tokyo release.

Its TGS, its meant for Japanese audiences only.

Not necessarily. They talked about their global strategy in the Keynote address; obviously being in one region doesn't mean you can't talk about the rest.

As for whether this is a worldwide release date, we don't have those details. Hopefully they'll elaborate before TGS ends.

me too. I still have no idea what anything says on Prologue. I have my reservation at a Gamestop though for GT5.

The odd thing is, I had been wondering when I was going to have the time to play some of the new games that are coming out between now and December. I can think of Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, and Ratchet and Clank Future: CIT off the top of my head (Im not so big on FPS). I don't like to just rip through a game, I like to draw it out and enjoy the awesomeness. This works out as a positive from that perspective.

That doesn't mean Im not disappointed with a March 2010 (allegedly) release. I built a cockpit especially for this game. Including wheel I plan on spending around $600 before I even buy the game. I know I can play other racing games with it, but I wasn't even interested in wheels and cockpits before I started thinking about a Q4 2009 release.

Ultimately I understand that its a game that needs to be right. I don't want it to be like NFS: Shift and FC (full of bugs). I want it to be right. As an added bonus I get to play some of the other games I wanted to enjoy. Now I just have to figure out when Ill be able to play GoWIII

I can buy it anytime I choose ... maybe on the back of the purchase of the PSP version ... my savings is around 65% complete ... reality might have my purchase delayed another 6 months ... March I'm figuring
