I think I'm going to completely switch gears and predict that 1.53 update is actually only going to be the My First GT demo and there won't be any update to GT other than an PS5 Pro update.
My first gt proably coming in early december, pd proably would have release next update before then.

It’s time to add custom interior gauges like one of the older GT games had.
People (including me) doom picked the Lexus LFA (from the data mine) for more than a year before it released in spec II. I feel like the Ferrari 812 Superfast has that role now. It’s probably coming, potentially soon and people will keep predicting it until they’re inevitably right.
Why though? I never saw much hype around the Ferrari F12berlinetta already in the game.

Now that is excellent predicting. It may well be full of hopium, but no one can deny that this is exactly the type of post we need on this thread.
Thanks for the kind words! However, it is not the full thought out prediction, which was back in page 2 https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...iction-discussion-thread.428917/post-14347517
However, given what is expected for Nations and what was written in another thread here by a well-informed person, I would 100% pick the AAR over the Bugatti now

It's been too long since we had a new McLaren in the game. From GT Sport to GT7 we only have one car in addition which is the McLaren MP4/4 '88. I think there are quite some great cars from this manufacture. Photos attached.

Okay, but this is a thread for trying to predict what the next update will contain. Are you predicting that the next update will include seven cars and they're all McLarens? If not, you'll be wanting one of the threads mentioned in the first post.

I think he might be getting at any one of those could be in the update if they’re filling out manufacturers. I for one am blown away that we keep getting generational gaps filled in Subaru, bmw and civics or even just variants of these cars etc, yet we still only have ONE can-am car in the game when there’s a ton to choose from.

I'm placing my bets the damn AZ-1 is coming in this update. 1 Porsche (993 Turbo?), 1 of the Lancia Rally Cars, and a Merc of some type. This may be the update for a new Ferrari.

And they better get a freaking track on the game or it will be a flop of an effort to push PS5 Pro sales.

I think the EB110 would definitely be in Hagerty's if it came...
Can agree with you on that, I think the EB110 is too expensive to appear in the Used Car Dealership imo (Similar to how the Lexus LFA '10 did not appear in the UCD due to the price inflation from 375,000 credits in GT5/GT6 to 1,500,000 credits in GT7)

I had predicted these for the May 2024 update:

1971 Porsche 908/03 Spyder
1993 Civic SiR II
1975 2002 Tii

I got the Civic right for the month.

If there’s a chance of another or multiple Can-Am, I figured already having a classic Porsche race car would open the opportunity for a Porsche owner or maybe Porsche Museum to grant access to a Porsche Can-Am. The Toyota 7 may seem like a no-brainer(earlier in the franchise) and a McLaren M8F ‘71 Championship winner(because 1971 is the best year ever in all of time :)).
At the moment, the only car we could expect is the Ferrari 512 S. It’s been over three years since that car has won the award. However, we haven’t gotten all the earlier award winning cars from Pebble Beach(the latest being the Lancia wedge). So, may be a long time coming for that Ferrari 512 S.

Yeah I would have welcomed any of your predictions accept the civic haha. I have been expecting the Toyota 7 as it was in previous games. Maybe that’ll be the one to drop in time for the PS5 Pro and it’s better graphic quality. I imagine the VR is supposed to get a picture quality boost or that ray tracing stuff. Open cockpit… makes sense, didn’t they drop the Honda with the vr?

Either way besides my wish list for non content fixes in updates… I really want some more historic stuff. I was hoping every update would always include one historic, one vintage or like 20-30 years old and something new. Tracks always welcome in my books.

I predict the 2024 version of a beige Toyota Corolla. Whatever the most bland, non motorsporty car that Toyota has, its coming in the next update.
More like, the all new 2007 Toyota HiLux SR5 Cargo Edition to be raced nowhere against nothing.

But, that is what we're all dying, begging misserably to drive in this game....

Im still waiting on my 14ft box truck. Gonna need that ballast to be up to 10-15,000lbs~

for funsies

Also, i predict an actual attempt at a physics fix to remedy the bouncy, bouncy, band-aid we have going on now. Hopefully, they will get things in a good place so they can finally get around to implementing fanatec’s full force tech.

Someone in the know quietly liked this post. Keep an eye out for one of these cars.

Having an Eiger Nordwand prediction deja vu around here.

Not sure the reason, probably licenses issues?? I recall part of the Lotus drama was because they learnt the license deal between PD and McLaren and wanted something similar

Prediction is a fool's game with PD but I'll give it a go.

I'm going to guess 5 cars, and possibly a track. We've had very sporadic updates this year BUT there are no signs of PD giving up on GT7 just yet. So I think perhaps the new model is going to be big updates quarterly and very small/nonexistent updates the rest of the time. Maybe that's just too optimistic, I don't know.

Now - the cars!

Porsche 911-GT1 98 Race Car '98 - this is a car who's absence is keenly felt, I think. GT7 has all the other famous GT1 racing cars of this era but not this one, the car that paved the way for the GT-ONE and the CLK-LM. Although I think PD would choose to include the '98 version in-game, as it is more obviously different from the street model and the most appropriate rival for the above-mentioned Mercedes and Toyota.

Lancia Delta HF Integrale Rally Car '92 - a returnee to the series, I predict the Delta Integrale from the datamine will make an appearance this update. A slightly strange choice as we can essentially replicate this car from the Delta already in the game - why not pick the more distinctive S4? - but I'm not complaining. It's still a classic and a good compliment to the Group A rally cars already in game. PD loves trios of things.

RUF CTR Yellowbird '87 - speaking of trios, the addition of this iconic GT legend would bring three RUF vehicles to the game and allow the creation of a RUF-based extra menu in the cafe. I'm sure many of us have some fond memories of this one from past GTs where it was the "stand in" 930 911.

Mazda éfini RX-7 FD '91 - you didn't think PD would go a whole update without essentially duplicating a car we already had, did you? Of course they wouldn't, silly! In this case I've picked the RX-7 from the datamine but it could be the 2007 GTR I suppose.

Mazda Autozam AZ-1 '91 - I'm just going with the crowd consensus on this one it seems, but I can't imagine PD would have the "sporty kei car ABCs" without the A. And they can make an extra menu book for them.

Track - Mid-Field/Autumn Ring/Red Rock Valley - if they do add a track, and I'm only about 20% confident that they will, I think it will be a remastered version of a classic original track and not a real-life circuit.

I don't think any real-life circuits have been added since Road Atlanta, which suggests that either PD are saving them up for GT8 or the licensing costs are too high.
