Which association football club do you support?

I'm a bit late but, Arsenal :)

Until the age of about 12, I wasn't really bothered about football. People would ask me who I supported and I would just say Arsenal, because that is who my dad followed.
But in year 8 at school, our head of P.E managed to get 50 tickets for students to go to the Emirates stadium to watch Arsenal play Manchester City (before they became stinking rich), which we won 2-0. Ever since that game about 6 years ago I have been a mad follower of Arsenal.
Since that game, the school did more Arsenal trips which I attended against Aston Villa, Reading and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Then, earlier this year I went to a Champions league game in which we beat Napoli 2-0, and I have just got three tickets for myself, my dad and my brother as Christmas presents to watch us play Hull.
A slightly odd way of finding a football team to support, I will admit :P

From the day I skipped college to go and see Christian Vieri :)

For me:

S.L.Benfica (we just lost our greatest star, RIP Eusebio)

Really sorry to hear about it, AlvaroF. I already made a thread in the Opinions & Current Events forum. I'll add your clubs right away.

I wanted to share this with you guys:

These guys are called "Libres & Lokos" (The Free and Crazy ones)... the biggest support group of mexican team TIGRES...

:)

I know who I don't support: Brisbane Roar. I just watched the A-League Grand Final, and some of the stuff they were doing was disgraceful - every time the Wanderers got a play going, the Roar kept forcing fouls to stop the play and give themselves time to plug the obvious holes in their defence.

So put me down as a Wanderers fan.

Three years after relegation, two years after promotion... today I can finally say:

RIVER PLATE 2014 CHAMPIONS!

Gonna update the OP as well.

My father, and his father, were supporters of a NSW club team known today as Sydney United (formerly known as Sydney Croatia). With the inaugral FFA cup (putting State teams against the national teams), it would be great to see them qualify, which atm they need to win their playoff round in order to do so (hopefully they do). I am looking forward to the FFA cup arriving after the World Cup :)

(The 58 refers to the year they first started)

As for me, I used to follow Leeds United back in the early 2000's (that was when many of the Socceroos squad was in), but when they were regulated I stopped watching EPL live (also due to the constraints of time). With the dwan of the A-League up until now, I've gone for Sydney FC, but if they don't make the finals I will jump on the Wanderers bandwagon :D.

I would like to watch Euopean football again, but the main problem (besides time) is that I don't have subscription to the dedicated football channel (at this time)

Couldn't agree more-with the main culprate being Besart Berisha.
As for his Melbourne Victory next season, looks like his 'loyalty' to Brisbane Roar couldn't match Melbourne Victory's wallet size (I emphasize loyalty as that was what people were talking about in excess when referring to him)

Fortunately, the referee didn't fall for his obvious dive and attempts to bait la Rocca into a punch-up. But both Berisha and McKay should have been sent off. They were obviously playing dirty.

I don't know about you, but one thing I notice is that the team who wins the A-League ends up playing terribly the next year (take Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory after their wins, and the Mariner's performance last season). So maybe Brisbane could suffer the same fate, who knows...
