So then you admit it.

It's built on a belief, as they cannot explain how or why what they believe happened.

I rest my case.

Evolution happens. There is ample scientific evidence that shows this... how it happens is explained by evolutionary theory... it is not fully understood how it happens, hence the theory is continually being refined to explain more accurately the experimental observations... but belief doesn't come into it at all...

I believe in evolution, as in, for example, wisdom teeth. Humans evolve for their surrounds, another example. However, what I'm talking about it a form of "the beggining" and how it all started. Or, in other words, evolutionism as a source of creation.

You don't appear to have any idea how science works.

Enlighten me, oh wise one. 👍

I happen to believe that my summary is close enough to get the point across.

Hello?

Oh, Burnout. It's for you. The Real World is calling on the Clue Phone.
:D

I got owned.

Burnout, it's a tough road huh? I know exactly how you feel. :(

It can be both ways with the glass thing. From a religious point of view, god made every animal on the earth. I assume he didn't make the eggs... just bang and there was a chicken that laid an egg to start the species. I am wrong and the human Google will probably prove me wrong...

The one in the second part of the poll. It's been stated that God made the chicken first... I just wondered which way He considered the glass.

because the Bible tells us of a literal 6 day creation period (Genesis 1)

is this gonna be yet ANOTHER evolution/creation thread?

if it does, im gonna close this thread because we already have a thread for that...we dont need yet another eyesore in the opinions forum

I don't believe this, but some people think that a day according to God is longer than a day on earth. So they think it really could have taken God millions or billions of years to create everything. They think that a God day could be something like a billion years or a million years. I don't think that a day according to God is this long.

Thanks Burnout and #17 for helping with the 6 day creation.

I think the egg came first, as it is from the early stages of life where evolution would occur, wouldn't it? And either can be correct for the glass question. It's psychological, obviously. However, if I had to choose, I'd pick half full, not to be positive, but because empty more often than not implies to me a full absence of something in a container. That said, I should have checked the half full option.
