What have you experienced online and racing globally?

Not really interested in hot lap times but skill in wheel to wheel

The fastest guys I've run into are usually Australian, I ran into a few Italians that were pretty quick too. Every country has great racers though. Why do you wanna know anyway? You can't challenge a whole country y'know dude.

United States!

I would say i am probably average in lap times, sometimes quick but meant to have fun.

This question is so weird and unnecessary... most people will just come up with baseless answers or root for their own country. Stranger still because GT6's online mode isn't enabled yet, and here we have a thread asking which online drivers are the fastest, posted in the GT6 section of the forums. :dunce:
I feel like we're getting to the point where we're actively looking for any possible questions to ask, no matter how random.

I have seen loads of fast Italians in GT5. Then there are the ever present Saudis too.

I'm Australian, to remove any trace of bias

When I raced on races with a global qualification, I only saw players from Spain, France or Japan in the main positions, generally.

No, not really. If you wanna win, hire a Fin. 👍

I've found on a global stand point there's not just one fast driver but a very large group on the VR tracks. You put them all on a real track more than a forth would be cut. From there it come down to that fastest driver on that day or year. It's comes to who you are behind the wheel during that moment.

Generally speaking, members of the GTPlanet nation :gtpflag:. When they aren't quick, they're at least clean!

And, again, besides what I've already said, the question is rather pointless. Every country has it's own great drivers, simple as that.

Where did Fast & the Furious come from?

Enough said. RIP Paul

Anyway, I have met equally fast people online. It doesn't matter where you come from, if you're fast... you're fast!

Japanese game... so, maybe the people of the country for whom gaming is most considered mainstream culture, perhaps?!

I'll agree with most of these replies. Every country has fast drivers, and this thread/question isn't all that necesarry. Throwing this out there though, Fins often give me a run for my money.
