Hi Lads,

Wonder if someone can offer me some advice. ould someone please tell me which of these cars would be the best choice for racing 20 laps of the autumn ring? Please could you also tell me WHY you make a suggestion.....assuming anyone actually does lol :)

Buick GNX '87
Buick Special '62 (SEMA Gran Turismo Awards 2003)
...Chevrolet Camaro SS '69
Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 '70
Dodge Charger 440 R/T '70
Dodge Charger Super Bee 426 Hemi '71
Dodge Challenger R/T '70
Plymouth Cuda 440 Six Pack '71
Plymouth Superbird '70
helby GT350R '65
Ford Mustang Mach 1 '71See More

I cant afford to buy all these and some are hard to find so perhaps you oculd suggest the top 3?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers

The Dodge Challenger R/T '70 is certainly faster than the others. Simply because you can do a RM for it.

Buick Special '62 (SEMA Gran Turismo Awards 2003) is fast and easy to control, but i don't think its very fun to drive especially with stock settings

I did a event of muscle cars a few days ago. funnily enough, one of the races was autumn ring reverse 20 laps. (525PP sport soft)

The Buick Special is most likely the best car on that list, but I don't really know as the event I participated in did not allow that car.

The best car I tried from that list is the Camaro. It is the lightest car of the bunch(important in autumn ring), and fairly easy to control. I used the LDP tune, with some LSD adjustments.

The Ford Mach1 is also good, but suffers more than the Camaro from tire wear. I really like this car, and with the RKM tune it is probably the car with the best handling I tried.

Haven't tried it on that track and don't know what your race restrictions are but the Buick GNX is a real burner.
