How about the Super Special Stages in the rallies?

You know, 2 tracks side by side that intertwine.

it`s unreal, but i`d like to see polish track, Tor Poznan (Circuit Poznan). there are more holes than in swiss cheese, like 90% roads in Poland ;/
here is the photo:
I love you, Im from Poznan myself so yes, i want that track. 👍

Oh, ya, and Paul Ricard for testing

Howz about some cross country routes... A couple of hundred miles from one side of a country to the other! Kinda like the Gumball 3000 trek across where ever, it doesn't matter. Just plain driving across a country with changing scenery and conditions, Gran Touring!

Or

The Mille Miglia route... From Brescia to Roma round and back again in the footsteps of Stirling Moss!

Or

The BBC's Top Gear Test Track!?!?! It looks tiny but it looks like fun on TV...

What happened to that crazy test track in GT3, with every kind of bend, corner and loop! It was a bit clinical, but always a laugh (especially in the F1 cars)...

I know it's not a real track, in fact any GT lover will know it's from GT2... but they have to put Grindelwald back in! I missed it in GT3 and with the cool cars and awesome physics of GT4, I'm missing it in GT4.

PLEASE put old "Grindelwald" in GT5!!!

I wouldn't mind something like that as well, except it may be a little hard to do - even as a set route.

I wouldn't mind a similar track that's free roaming...

...with realistic traffic...

...but then again its not really Gran Turismo then is it?

Complex String.
It looks like a dog intestine.
I love that track.

I agree, but that's why it would be something new and fresh! What is GT anyway?!?! If free roaming in some sort and cross country sprinting is a form of simulation for cars fast and slow, then why not? Break the mould.

I did realise it would be difficult to do this kind of cross route rally, but then again, I ain't the programmer. If they can make GT4 as good as it is, then do this... please...

I am a NASCAR fan, but GT5 does not need a bunch of ovals. Road courses suit GT racing much better...however, the addition of rovals would be a nice touch.

The Top 5 Tracks I Want to See:

Special Stage Route 11 (Many hate it, but I love it, bring it back!):nervous:

Spa (They canceled their F1 date this year, arrgh!)

Sebring (ALMS)

Long Beach (Champ Car street course)

San Jose (Champ Car street course)

ok i'm not sure if anyone has said this yet but i really would like to see the clipsal 500 in adelaide (Australia) that would be a really good course to have in GT5:tup:

I want some of the classic tracks in there.

For example Clermont-ferrand, rouen, reims or pescara.

Also get rid of the fantasys.

We NEEEEEED more real street circuits like the norisring and long beach too.

PLz get rid of some Japanese ones, just keep full suzuka + fuji '05. This leaves room for more.

Castle Combe. Where's that I hear you ask?!!!! I live near it and have driven around it several times.

the clipsal 500 is a street circuit and would be a good challenge

I say, never get rid of something good already made.
I say, keep every car and track since GT1
I say, what about brazilian circuits (South Americans / Europeans dominates F1)

I say that will be lots of space available to insert 6,02x10^23 tracks in Blu-Ray, so do not get bothered by that.

I'll second that, Bathurst (or Mount Panorama, to be precise) is a great track, I've only driven it in TRD2 and it's fantastic.

Speaking of precise, I've got no idea what the proper name for this course is, but the version of the Nurb that F1 ran in 1973 (the only year I know for sure they used that particular track, I'd assume they always used that version of the Nordschleife) would be great, with that neat banked bit at the beginning. You can sort of see what I'm talking about, with the 'b' shape running into the present day GP course in this image.

A few more tracks I'd like to see -

All the versions of the Paul Ricard circuit, with its fun blue and red futuristic runoff area things that I really don't have a clue how they work.

I can't forget my 'home' track of Mosport -

I'd imagine a lot of tracks like Spa have been mentioned a thousand times so I won't bother with them, although obviously I'd love to see them there.

Norisring -

Monza Florio -

An rFactor lap of Monza Florio

I'm a sucker for any track with a legitimate banked curve as well as any track with random shots through a heavy forest, so naturally, I absolute adore this version of Monza. Add in the Monza 'bowl', while we're at it.

We can throw in the old/real Hockenheim while we're at it.

A1/Osterreichring -

Montjuic -

I also wouldn't say no to the Bergrennen hillclimb course, and the full Pikes Peak. And you though GT4's Grand Canyon course was scary..

EDIT: And how good I forget, Vallelunga!

Fiorano/Misano/Mugello.. Imola.. bit of a theme here :P.

The new track in Portugal:

Autódromo Internacional do Algarve

Designed to be one of the best and most modern circuits in Europe, the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve will benefit from the best conditions of safety and comfort both for drivers and the public.
Find out more about the concept underlying its design and the 64 different possible layouts of the circuit, including those that have already been approved by the FIA for Formula 1 and by the FIM for Superbikes.

Probably already been mentioned, but I would love the Isle of Mann TT

Also,

I have always liked the concept of a free roaming city much like Test drive, NFS etc, but to date (in my opinion) all of those games suck to varying degrees. They are all arcade games with unrealistic physics! Why can't we have a sim, a GT5 with a free roaming city, with highways and country roads, where drivers could meet up, arrange races etc.

That would be cool

I'd love to see Kyalami, the location for tomorrows A1 grand prix, in GT. It's one of those tracks that you don't get tired of. One of the segments called 'mineshaft' is a long straight downhill where you reach high speed and then it flattens out into a gentle left hander. No braking, just a beautiful high speed sweep and the right hand suspension is fully loaded at over 200km/h. Poetic!

The isle of man TT would be my choice also, would make the ring look like childs play!

I remember when Tourist Trophy was announced I nearly wet myself at the prospect only to be disappointed!

The thought of hammering down a PD version of Glencutchery Road makes the hair at the back of my neck stand on end!

Last few posts have chosen 2 of the tracks I was going to post, Kyalami and Isle of Man.
Phillip Island-hopefully they will introduce weather and a little bit of wind here changes lap times dramatically as it blows of the Southern ocean. Watkins Glen-I think thats what it's called, I've seen it on sports cars along with Infineon.

I'm sure I'll think of some more later.:D

All the versions of the Paul Ricard circuit, with its fun blue and red futuristic runoff area things that I really don't have a clue how they work.

The blue and red areas are very abrasive asphalt run-off areas, the red sections being more abrasive than the blue. Although Circuit Paul Ricard isn't a particularly outstanding circuit, it would be interesting to see how accurately PD could model the run-off areas. 👍

I'd really like to have Valencia actually added in the game. Not to mention Magny-Cours, Le Mans Short Circuit, and Donington Park/Silverstone. And of course, Spa.
