Which seasonal event did you find the hardest?

/OT How can you see the huge tankers in the ocean turn on a diametre of 30 miles? You wouldn't be able to see them over the horizon! /OT

Actually they have 2 road races in the year at Sears Point and Watkins Glen - and they are the best NASCAR races in the season IMHO:) There's something very cool about watching big heavy V8s tackling a twisty circuit. Both those tracks are proper circuits with big gradient and camber changes, just like the NS - I'm sure a real NASCAR race at the Ring would be extremely watchable.

The Ring is my favourite track and the main reason I play GT so found this one OK - only tune was maxing the downforce.

i really wonder why some people have problems with the prius, the ford or any other race except from rx7 on tsukuba. i just couldnt win this one. not even close while all the rest was just too easy. always won with at least 10 sec ahead and not even the best driver round here. and i am stil using ds3.

so if you have troubles to succeed in all the unlimit tuning challenges, just tune a bit more. impossible to fail!

i found the nascar on the ring the hardest. also it is the most fun, what can be better than throwing around a heavy car that goes very fast on the most complicated track in the game.

ok. just recognized that the took away all limitations from the tsukuba rx7 race. now i just put racing softs on and won the race with a clear 18sec lead. 💡👍

The nascar one is well worth just trying to get 2nd or 3rd as the money is not too bad. but seriosuly softening the suspension up for me made a massive difference. The nascar changed from turning and moving with the agility of a some kind of sea faring ship to being reasonable good, turning when /where I wanted with no understeer and controllable power on over steer.
Thanks. I will give it another shot today. :) I did mess with suspension a tad, but yeah...it was still very twitchy.

I'd recommend going and running the AMG Intermediate events for gold to learn the Nurburgring if you are having issues. Being able to break it down by sector really makes it much easier and quicker to learn. Your lap times for the Nascar challenge don't even need to be blazing fast to win the event they just have to be pretty clean with no spins. If you can lap anywhere under 6:50 you shouldn't have any problems winning.

Nascar one was hard as for me lol I don't know the track and had to use full mods and all assists and racing line and was still failing then after about 10 tries I got it lol. Not a fan of the ring :P

Nascar at the 'Ring...the lead car gets such a head start, and throwing those heavy cars around is pretty tricky, especially with the DS3. I still haven't won that.

I finally won it yesterday...........but not without a little help from a friend{Beatles reference}.

Rx7 was the most fun I had with the past seasonal event..
It took me two tries though, I was 4th the first time I tried, cause I spun out twice.. but kept it clean on the second try and won first place.

I didn't find it too difficult though, maybe cause the car was tuned too well. :P

Nascar + the 'ring because I really really dislike that track, and the practice it takes to get even remotely familiar with it takes an investment in time I'm not prepared to give due to its length.

It's a little ironic perhaps that I actually like driving Nascar cars.

that track is awesome i dont know what you're talking bout, however nascars are p.o.s. hate driving those things. too bad they didint let us use something like the M3 CSL instead. i love driving that thing around the ring

All from Seasonal Events #1 (except the Nissan GT-R race, got 2nd place)
Then they lifted the tuning restrictions and I got
#2: All gold (except the Mini race)
#3: All gold on first try
#4: We'll see when I get home, but I'm guessing it will be all golds again.

#1 were ok, I got second in all of those comfortably and with more effort could have attempted golding them

#2 didn't like the NASCAR challenge, first lap was good and then only managed to pass 1 car for 7th on the second lap (despite starting the lap in 7th.....) but the mini challenge was harder I think, car AT the limitations and yet I was still never close to fast enough. 5 consistent laps on what I believed to be close to the limit for 5th....

#3, meh.... I tried them COMPLETELY stock and struggled, then limited myself to a tyre change. Golded them all, glad for the experience and glad that it is structured this way, but its difficult to get a balance between "near impossible" and "easy"

#4 look forward to trying them completely stock again, though they sound even easier.

Nascar around nurburgring was pretty damn easy. I bought the Racing Soft and Max the down force. I had 2x 360 spin and driving on grass but still win by 4+ seconds.

Hardest challenge so far is the Prius. I refused to tune this POS car and end up winning after 4 tries. It was close too, won by 0.6 seconds at the last straight.

I think the hardest one for me was the RX7 one before the restrictions were lifted. I did manage to gold it with the restrictions in place, but only due to turning SRF on. This was closely followed by th ST challenge. That one was also very difficult to gold.

But for #3 and #4, I'm finding these relatively easy to be honest. Just running the cars stock and seeing how I do. Ive managed to get gold on pretty much all of them with stock cars.

personally, the RX-7 was the one which had me stumped for a while

Yeah that one took a few tries and a lot more upgrades than I usually need.

The toughest one by far though was the NASCAR at the ring for me. I couldn't even finish the race until I put Medium slicks on the car and even then I only got to 7th.

Only other one I haven't golded from the 2,3 and 4 series is the final Citroen race of #3. I need to buy the car first and haven't done so yet.

Geez, I didnt even know they dropped the restrictions on the second batch of events! I gave up the stupid Focus challenge after what felt a million tries without ever catching that damn RS... 3 sec was the closest I ever came to him!

Its the only one I didnt win!
