I love GT5 so much. I wont be playing anything else for a few weeks. (Which is a shame seeing as how I bought 3 new games)

Before you reply, take a look at this.

In a relationship, lets say you find that one girl, that one girl that makes you laugh, smile, and turns your world upside down. When you look at her all you see is her beauty despite flaws she may have, because true love is flawless.

Now lets say she has a little pudge around her thighs, is that really going to matter if she makes you happy and has you smiling non stop whenever your with her? For me the answer is no, I will lover her regardless, yes if she went to the gym it wouldn't hurt, but even if she didn't, I still love her.

GT5 to me is like that girl, yes there are a few things that are in GT5 that ideally could have been done better or might be fixed later. However I am so happy with GT5 when I am playing, that it doesn't really matter in the big picture.

Yes! The fog is awesome, makes the place look like the green hell that it is. Having visited the Norschleife a couple fo months ago, its awesome to see such an accurate representation. The place is simply awesome

I feel it's like a childhood sweetheart. The memories are great and the anticipation of seeing a grown up version would be just as good, of not better than I remember. Truth is, when she turns up she is a flawed and ultimately clunky obese woman who wears thick glasses and has bad breath.

That sums up my GT5 experience. I am still playing it as I demand my £40 value out of it but to say I am disappointed is a huge understatement. After watching the opening movie, I was so excited as it looked amazing. Look, damage!! Finally! Or should that be..........no damage. All you get is a slightly dark smudge on your car after hitting a wall at 150mph. I mean, it's a game, I don't want you to write the car off but seriously, some effort would have been nice.

After getting to level 10 I am bored and find myself going back to Forza 3. The handling is not as good but it's more fun. That is what is missing from GT, FUN. You an also do so much more with every car in Forza. GT really needs to pick their game up. Quite literally. There are way too many compromises, 800 slightly better than PS2 quality cars? The worst shadows in a game ever? Way too may restrictions to what you can do with your cars, brake tuning? Where is it?

6 years and we get this and most people are okay with that? Seriously?? You are either lying to yourselves or really easily pleased. I will await updates to fix these issues but I won't hold my breath either.

I love it! All of my friends are Forza 3 players, and they all came over and saw and played GT5 and they all hate Forza now. Even the ones that said GT5 would be garbage, took back everything they have said bad about GT5.

Most Forza players enjoy acid.

I'm addicted to online play. The tension you feel when you're leading a race and the back end steps out...wow...no other game has got my pulse racing like GT5.

I don't care about standard cars, the most important thing in GT5 is how cars react. Every car need to be handled differently, there are huges differences between every car.... don't care about the rest :-)

I love 20% of this game. Thats the percent with all the premium cars. When I have a premium car I can do EVERYTHING in the game I want with it. And thats when I am happy.
When I drive the standard cars...

Okay, I'm coming around.

It's unfinished and broken. At best it's unbelievable. At worst it's GT4+.
I even filed a complaint with Sony over this game.

But my profile says ~1500 miles and I can't stop. Middle of the night and I can't keep my hands off of it.
It should have been better, but I *really* like this game.
