I´m a big fan of Metallica, is one of my favourite bands.
The best album for me is the ...And Justice for All, the One song is Epic.

One is fantastic. A lot of my friends favorite song. Same with Welcome Home (Sanitarium).

Really no different from this:

The point is that Metallica complained about 13 year olds downloading their music... And here they are blatantly ripping off an unknown thrash band.

HEY are you referring to me?

I only care for the first three albums - after Cliff died, I felt like some of the magic went away.

Still good music, though.

I love the Unforgiven series. Unforgiven II was what got me into Metallica but I haven't listened to them beyond Outlaw Torn, Nothing Else Matters, Fade to Black, One and For Whom the Bell Tolls.

Can anyone recommend some more specific Metallica songs?

Their entire discography. That is your suggestion.

Are you implying that you download music illegally?

...Justice was pretty good too, though it would have been their best of they'd had Cliff.

Depends on your taste in music. If you're more into rock by the Black Album. If you're more into Metal, get Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, ...And Justice for All, and Kill 'em All. (buy the albums, not just the songs).

If I had to kind of give each album a rank by words and not numbers I think it'd be something like:

Kill 'em All - Thrashiest, kind of just rip around and destroy everything feeling
Ride the Lightning - Heavier thrash, second thrashiest but laid back
Master of Puppets - Metal but not exactly thrash excluding Battery
...And Justice for All - Heavy thrash, not crazy though
Metallica (Black Album) - Heavy metal, metal
Load - Heavy metal
Reload - Hard rock
St. Anger - Terrible take on nu-metal, experiementation
Death Magnetic - Thrashy comeback album, kind of like a combo of Ride the Lightnin' and Kill 'Em All
The New Black Album - No idea yet

Count me in. I was an angry teenager and Metallica was kind of a life soundtrack for me.
Kind of lost them after Justice though, but I still go back to "Harvester of sorrow" once in a while

If Cliff was there I guess you could actually hear basslines that do not mimic guitars in Justice...

Yeah. And despite being dead Cliff still wrote just as many as songs as Jason did 👍

Well Jason never got to be a part of the band the way Cliff was...

Still, they wrote the same amount of songs on ...Justice. 1 each, though I prefer Cliff's (To Live Is To Die), to Jason's (Blackened). It's kind of sad that Jason never really got to be a part of the band though, I think Metallica really suffered for it.

I still win because I have a poster signed by Cliff =P

Yeah, you win, if you can prove it! Until then I win, because my avatar has always been a picture of Cliff :)

The first 4 albums were great. After the Black album they started to go downhill.*edit* let me rephrase that, during the Black album they went downhill.

Kill em all is still my favorite album.

Some of my friends and I got together to buy "Binge and Purge", I think it was: Hours on end of the guys fighting with Bob Rock just about anything. It made them mainstream (and insanely rich I guess) but that's ok, you can't hold on to a band forever...

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Cliff

At one point they were my fav years ago.Still listen to them occasionally. After the Black album it got to be hard to listen to though.I wish Jason was still there though, nothing against Rob' playing but he just doesn't have the stage presence like Jason had.
