I've never met anybody from GTP apart from somebody I was friends with before.

:(

I've only met @Danny and @Tom so far. I'm sure it'll change in the future.
That's another one on my list. I would like to meet @Tom . The first person I properly got to know on this site well before I started visiting the infield. I used to like the karting championship he ran.

Nah, I'm down near Windsor in Ontario, I've never left the province :lol:

You're definitely going to enjoy yourself, then - I've been all around Canada (used to be a DSM for a major retail corp and had to fly around inspecting stores, checking up on managers, etc; we had a store in Halifax, as well as Bedford.) Go visit Peggy's Cove if you get the chance and check out the lighthouse - also great photo ops - and you might get to pig out on lobster, too. Have a great trip! Nova Scotia is a breath-takingly beautiful place. Don't forget to climb the mountain ;) ! :lol:

Would like to meet - update:

@FoolKiller - to sample his sodium-free grub.
@Bopop4 - to go for a ride with.
@axletramp - to make use of all the witty 'Porsche driver' jokes I can think of.
@haitch40 - to get him drunk so we can speak about Asian culture.
@Blitz24 - I think we'd get on well in real life.
@Shaun - to put in some road distance together. (and perhaps the rest of the biking thread chaps for the same reason).
@Dennisch - i love the dutch centhen speaking enEnglish
@Slash - because Id like to try one of them trikes he's building.

There are others but posting more eats into my beer drinking time.

Sounds like a plan mate, going on your previous history though it would end up being a month long journey somewhere. 👍

@haitch40, it's actually not a 'short' list, just a small section of a long list that I didn't have the patience to type in my silly Android while trying to enjoy a beer.

@axletramp, mockery is the greatest form of flatter....I think.

@Slash, they may well have them here. The bike seen here is huge and it isn't uncommon to see quads rolling past in rush hour traffic. I'm yet to spot a trike though.

@shuan, perhaps if I have the time and resources I can ride down from Thai and fly over from Singapore to Aus and meet you for a weekend ride if you had the time. You've now got me thinking about undertaking such an amazing ride. :)

@W3HS

They are common in the US, Canada, and Australia but elsewhere they are kind of scare. You can pick them up cheap, I wonder how much it would cost to import one.

And so you should, commoner! :lol:

I truth though I do believe we'd have a great chat about the orient since we're both fond of the place.

Importing here is risky. Mostly because the bikes can't come in whole and have to be knocked down as 'parts'. The customs officers are famous for 'misplacing' and seizing imports and then auctioning them off. One guy brought over his Harley from the US, had it seized and had to buy it back at auction for almost retail price!

We'd have to get you a proper bike for the trails though. ;)

With my family business working with Gas Gas now I don't think it would be too hard to get my hands on one of these for a loan.

!

For the tight stuff around here you'd be better off with one of these.

All of the Euro woods 2 strokes are similar, it'd be like a KTM 300XC-W.
(Or 250 or 200.)

If you went to that much effort pretty sure I would find the time for a bit more than a weekend ride.

NEVER!!! :dopey:

Hurry up and get married and I'll come over. I won't fly all that way for a temple, but I will for a jolly good piss up!
