It's fairly close in the points standings right now between Bruno and Paul. Tracy pulled to within one point of Junquiera's lead after winning the pole for this Sunday's race in Mid-Ohio.

Don't count the some of the other drivers out either though. Michel Jourdain or Sebastien Bourdais could both as easily do well in the next few races and take the championship.

As of right now with it at a one point difference between the top two places, it's anyone's game.

It's also good to know that there are other CART fans here at GTP besides myself.

I enjoy watching the CART races, but to me it seems I have a harder time catching the races most of the time. Maybe I should check out CART's website to see when the races are . . . :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: . And since I haven't really caught a whole lot of the races this year, I don't really know who is going to win it. Man, am I useless or what???

May I suggest this page from http://www.cart.com?

CART Series USA TV Schedule

or for those living outside the U.S....

CART Series International TV Schedule

It took me all of ten seconds or so to find that. It's on the right hand side of the main page also. There are races nearly every weekend until the end of the season.

Yeah I know, I haven't kept up with CART too well. This is really my first season of watching any kind of road racing. So you have to cut me alittle slack. I have looked at CART's website a couple of times and have found it somewhat hard to find anything on it. But I'll check it out soon.

Actually, I really only got into seriously watching auto racing sometime last year. It's odd trying to follow a series the first few races but you get used to it.

Actually I haven't had a problem at all following Formula 1 because of their relatively simple points system. CART on the other hand has had me somewhat lost because of their different system of scoring. The same goes for ALMS which has a different too, but I haven't had a problem watching the races at all. I enjoy ALMS a whole lot, but that is probably because I really like Corvettes a whole lot. GO CORVETTE RACING!

I watch the cart races when ever I can but I'm the only race fan in my family so they usually take the remote from me and watch something they want.
Anyways all the cart races are on tsn but I think that tsn is just on canadain tv.

It would have to be, we don't get TSN here in the States. But we do get Speed channel, which is really only any good on the weekends really when they aren't showing @SSCAR around the clock. But CART is shown on Speed, CBS, and I think maybe even NBC (not sure about that one though). I know Speed and CBS cover it though.

Well that true and that kinda sucks for you.

I used to love that series, but since the Irrelevant Racing League ripped the heart out of it, I haven't been watching it. I keep half an eye on it in the motorsport press. It's a shadow of what it was in the mid 90's.

Not always in the US but pretty close to it, the Americans are like that with all thier sports though, baseball, basketball etc

Would like to watch more of the Championship but I just cant stand the 2 wankers that do the commentating, namely Jeremy "I know nothing about F1" Shaw and Steve "its Patrique not Patrick" Shaw

they also race in mexico, canada, england, germany, australia

think about it. why should they call it a f1 world champion. it should be f1 european champion. its based in europe.

champcars race all over the world so i feel that it should be a world championship

F1 goes around Brazil, U.S.A., Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Canada and long time ago Souht Africa.

Most of the racers of the Champcar are from the U.S.A., and F1 racers are from all over the world.

Sorry me if I said something wrong but I've only watched one race on TV, in Brands Hatch, England. Here in Europe (at least in my country) don't know nothing about U.S.A's sports.

well well the title goes to paul trac on the streets of the beautiful surfers paradise. looks like most of us (except me) got the poll right. but junquiera went down fighting at least.
