Why do i keep getting interrupted during an event ?

I've been experiencing an issue while playing GT7, and it's similar to what occurred when I played GT Sport, but it's happening more frequently now. During races, my screen suddenly switches to the PlayStation menu, as if I've pressed the PlayStation button. This interrupts my concentration and ruins my game, and it often happens three or four times within a single race. Has anyone else encountered this problem? More importantly, does anyone know how to fix it?

Have you tried a different controller?

I had this issue with my PS4, used it as an excuse to buy a PS4 Pro. Had the same issue there. Turned out that there was an issue with the controller.

So I use an aftermarket controller instead of the generic one that came with the ps4. I raced over 2 hours and not one interruption. So it WAS the controller! Thank you for your help!🙂
