Why do the new "Retro" tracks use their current enviroment ?

Dear Kazunori,

I really enjoy the new Senna content that was added to the game. When I heard about the inclusion of the old Monza & Brands Hatch tracks, I was really exited.

However, like many others I am disapointed that those tracks use their modern enviroment such as buldings, pits & advertisements since I prefer an accurate representation and not a "What if they didn't change the layout back then ?" representation. I can't imagine how out of place it would look if there was a 70's Nürburgring Layout with the RingRacer coaster still sitting next to it.

As a prime example for good retro tracks before, there was Fuji's 80's & 90's layout in GT4, where you could tell the enviromental difference on first sight.

We know it's impossible to recreate every tree that grew next to the Monza track in the 80's, but other games show that you can deliver a pretty accurate representation of those tracks from back in the day.


So my question is:
Why didn't the PD team try to replicate the old circuit envoriments as well or will they be updated at a later date ?

It's a very good question. Perhaps you could add "will the tracks be finished at a later date?" The layouts are both improvements so it would be a shame not to to have a better representation of the trackside as it was, even if it's not 100% accurate.
