I'm new to the whole mobile/tablet android world. In your android app permissions it says it "Allows the app to take pictures and videos with the camera. This allows the app at any time to collect images the camera is seeing."

I can understand being able to use the camera to easily post pics to the forum. Is there a way to disable this functionality in the app or in the device itself? I have a Nexus 7 running JellyBean and it only has a front facing camera. I have no desire to share a pic of my ugly mug online lol.

Image uploads have been disabled here, but the option hasn't been removed from the app as uploading images from the camera is something forum runner (which forms the basis for our app) can do on other sites that have it enabled.

See here.

Thanks for your reply and the link. Since that topic is over a year old I guess it is safe to assume that removing the permission from the android app is not a priority.
