As it says in the title. Whenever i'm on i check the online races and i get 1 or 2 rooms with about 2 or 3 people. I have the speedhunter dlc but not legends. Is it just that so many people play legends? Or does no-one go online because i remember on shift 1 there were alwyas at least 3 really full rooms and loads of smaller ones

You bought the drag pack but not the legends?

Your decision as it is your money.
I think you made the wrong call there mate.

who cares what pack the guy bought even before the dlc came out there is no one online. I like this game alot but I stoped playing for awhile ( went back to GT5 more freinds to play with) I am gonna get back to this game once my wheel arrives but why is no one online on this game. is it One GT5 and DIrt 3 or people just frustrated with the online? Or something else entirely?

I bought drag coz i like drag racing. Plus im not a massive fan of old cars really but i may invest in it later. Thanks for the info guys

I don't race online because I don't have a lot of friends who play Shift 2. I've been in 4 public lobbies and there isn't anything that resembles racing in those. My first race I was taken out in the first corner (along with everybody else in the race) but managed to dodge the idiots who just want to ram people and won the race. The last 3 races I waited for a few seconds after the light turned green to start, and just passed the pile up on the first corner and won all 3 races with no competition.

I'm not saying I'm an amazing racer or anything, but the online "community" for Shift 2 is complete bollocks. I can't actually have some good public races in GT5 or Forza 3, but I've never had one in a Shift (both 1 and 2) game.

Because they put no effort into online and it's more like bumper cars instead of racing. Possibly the worst online racer i have ever played...polar opposite to the offline.

The problem with Shift 2 online is that when you make a room, it is open to any and all car types. So if you forget to set limits, the guy with the most ridiculously over-powered car will win no matter how good you drive. This happened to me a few times before I got smart and put limits on the room. After that, I lost races proper style!

IMO if online is to succeed they have to remove the reset button. Once the kids figure out they cant crash you and beat you to the reset button they will get bored and move on like they did in gt5.

I make GT1 rooms...sometimes get 4-5 people, usually 2-3. Occasionally, there is a clean racer...but he usually gets punted by the 3rd guy and I still win by 20 seconds.

S2U is strictly an offline game for me.
Which is why I think it's the perfect alternative for GT5. I play GT5 for the online bit with my friends, and S2U for the offline career when no one is around or willing to play. 👍

I always forget about the reset button and can't figure out why they allow it online... A room setting for it (on/off) would also be acceptable.

I try to race clean. Make a few mistakes and any bumping is accidentsk. Always. Add me if you want. Wouldbe nice to actually have someone to autolog against :(

I just got this today but im always up for a good race. Just have to give me a little time to adjust to how this drives. PSN : TheLostNumber9

I've been online in private matches and having a blast. SU2 beats gt5 anyday in my book.

Hi all.

I have speedhunters and legends and am online from 9:30pm till 12:00pm (Eastern standard AUSTRALIAN Time), if you wish to race, drag as long as it's clean NO bash racing.

Hi, I agree with the what you say about mostly idiots crashing into you, however I have a select bunch of friends that race with me up to 10 players at some time, so if you want to race clean, then look us (me) up.

is this your psn -id ?

I was wondering also why no ones online. The offline is quite fun and sometimes challenging, so maybe thats why. I haven't even had one race online yet cause theres maybe one person on there. Is the room settings holding the online back?(ie: setting restrictions like cars, PI, or hp.)
