Why is Spain in the limelight of GT6?

Dont know what barley means. But I know that we should respect each culture the same way. If their system works, good for them. Humans are the only animal that doesnt take a break after a meal and I for one miss a break after lunch because I always get sleepy at work. what does this have to do with GT6 beats me...:dunce:

Barley is like an oat or something. Have it in soups or put it in with fruit to make squash.

I wonder if Valencia street circuit might sneak in?

TheeFrogmanlego, not to be an Idiot or anything, but I'm sure the good old US of A isn't really in that great of shape it's self there kiddo.Maybe if all of your corrupt Wall Street Bankers, were not giving away bogus loans to the rest of the world, we wouldn't have had that little market collapse.Maybe you should take up advanced economics and learn about your own backyard. As for 3 hour lunches,Spain isn't the second fattest country in the world. They digest what they eat.

I want PD to be focused on American made cars. I don't care about the locations. As long there's Tarmac to drive on.

Really? Like what, perhaps a 2013 Chevy Cruz? Or maybe a Ford Fusion?
Ok maybe a older Caddy,Oldsmobile or AMX Javelin, but there already enough crappy cars in here that we don't need another Ford Taurus. What good cars have come out of the states in the last 10 years that aren't in the game already?

I'm talking about muscle cars. Old and new. There's so many out there we missing out on.

The sim racing community is huge in Spain, why not attract them with some Spanish content? It only is good buisness practice don't you think?

What new muscle cars? Camaro,Challenger,Vette, already in the game,Mustang coming out in new one,am I missing a North American Muscle car that recently came out?
I'm assuming your asking for premium models as they already have enough standard muscle cars already in the game.Sure they could use like I said an old AMX or Firebird, but that's about it.

One might think that sim racers would be quite knowledgeable and subsequently more impressed by great circuits around the world than average gamers.

Better business practice is to focus on a worldwide audience as opposed to single countries.

Sim racers aren't the primary target or buying audience for GT, average gamers are. PD's objective appears to be sticking names of circuits in their marketing pieces that the majority of even casual fans might recognize, while keeping an eye on the licensing budget of course.

^That and how many 'sim racers' are there in Spain? 1,000 to the very most? That's nothing and also that crowd isn't much interested in console racing games.

No disagreement from me there.

Hello to all

1. I can say there are more, much more, than 1000 'sim racers' in Spain.

2. Fortunately I live close to Ronda. Nice place. It's easy to find on the roads of this area new cars and motorbikes tests. Motor Magazines usually take photos of new cars models and many motor tv ads are shot here. I must admit there are nicer places in Spain, but I think weather is one of the reasons they come here.

3.Work schedules (average). A teacher: from 8 to 15. People working for the Government, and Town Halls: from 8 to 15. Factories: 8-14/1 hour break/ 15-18, or 8 hours shifts. Hospitals, policemen, firefighters: 8 hours shifts. Shops: 9-14/ 3 hours break/ 17-21. Malls: 10-22. Bricklayers, farmers: 8-14/1 hour break/ 15-19.

4. And yes, Lucas Ordoñez is spanish.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Did it ever occur to anyone that the main potential reason why Spain is heavily featured in GT6 is because of the first GT Academy graduate (Lucas Ordoñez) is Spanish and has close relations with Kazunori, and that also Kazunori himself is quite fond of Spain?

Imagine a hypothetical situation where Kazunori & Lucas are having a discussion about Spain and Lucas says "This is a beautiful location, and would be complimentary to GT6." And with Kazunori being quite fond of Spain himself it only seems likely that he would send some staff over to check out the location. Now the hypothetical situation is not exactly the best demonstration, but you can see how Kazunori's decision is heavily influenced.

What good cars have come out of the states in the last 10 years that aren't in the game already?

Do you honestly expect someone to be able to answer that when everyone's definition of a good car is different and when we haven't seen the full car list for GT6 yet?

A lot of motoring press from Europe do reviews in Spain, thanks the the nice weather, scenery and most importantly roads! When I was staying near Barcelona in August there was some sort of British magazine with a couple of British registered F-Types (one has camouflage which was interesting) and an XKR-RS in the same area as I was.

I once drove from Seville to Merida by way of Cazalla de la Sierra in the Andalucia region of Spain...and it was the drive of my life quite honestly!!!:)
