Why is the Nike 2022 not in Gt5? It was in Gt4 and I loved it, but why not in Gt5?
ToronadoLicencing.
SkierPS3It's a bummer, though PD could maybe just rerelease it, but instead of being a Nike car it could be a Gran Turismo car.
GT5 - "Hey Nike, we want to put your car in our game."
Nike - "Ok cool, that'll be $xxx,xxx..."
GT5 - "Nevermind."
...or something like that.
What do you mean?
Actually, they could probably very easily make a Premium out of it. I'm pretty sure the designer of the car when he was posting on here about it back in the day said that PD modeled it part-by-part anyways, and they had to cut it down in detail severely to even get it to work in GT4 at all.Might have something to do with the fact that there's no actual model of the car to go by if they were to create a premium version of it at any point in time.

You are all wrong the car designed by both Nike and PD. They both have the rights to the car.Same thing with many other cars not in game, such as the everlasting Porsche argument.
The driving position for this car is insane
Any pictures of it in with the driver in?
That's not how licencing agreements work. You are all wrong the car designed by both Nike and PD. They both have the rights to the car.

Unless Nike part-owns the copyright for the design itself. Or if Phil Frank part-owns the copyright for the design itself. Or the licence for the car's design was specifically made for GT4 only. Or any number of things that would have made it so the car could not have been ported to GT5.And if they want to use the car in GT5 they could have used it but they had to change the name and remove the Nike logo just as the did with some race cars.
Never understood the point of these so called concept designs, that never existed nor they will irl
That's why I never bother with the red-bull thingy, impossible to drive with a normail controller and it's only good use is to give it to Bob, so he can finish the race quicker

I always thought it was more like what Slashfan said.slashfan7964Funny because brands are offering money to have their cars included. They see it as a form of advertising.
