Why isn't the Nike 2022 in Gt5

Was a cool car but screw Nike. Seriously they are a bullcrap multi-billion dollar company selling inferiority complexes to kids across America. Be Michael Jordan or be no one. Like the people working our sweatshops in other countries.

Screw Nike. Let real car companies handle cars while Nike handles stepping on the little guy.

My point is I'd rather not have a company with such ridiculous moral stances building hot wheels cars just to get more advertising where it doesn't belong. Let's stand for some decency and realize the underhanded motives of this company.

Doubt that would work. Not like you could try it either, the Nike 2022 wasn't in GT: PSP.

In one way yes. You would only be able to use the car in arcade mode.

That's not entirely true... The FPVs from GT PSP can not be imported to GT5.

Car models are not saved in the save data, what is saved is a reference to a car model which may exist on GT PSP but not in GT5 so if you export the Nike 2022 save data and try to import it into GT5 you will get an error of some sort.

Funny because brands are offering money to have their cars included. They see it as a form of advertising.

I always thought it was more like what Slashfan said.

Chevy: "You mean you will put one of our cars in your video game so people can race it around and see how cool it is?"

I would think car companies would love free advertising for anyone who wants exposure, not to be paid for it.

Not all think that way. Look at Ferrari, they'll make you pay to use there cars because it's such a huge brand worldwide already (no advertising needed). Scion on the other hand has little to no brand recognition so will pay to have their cars featured, to boost the brand.

When it comes down to it, it's all about the bigger guy getting bigger while the smaller guy trying to catch up.

Because it wasn't developed by PD. It was developed by an outside graphic designer and paid for by Nike; both of which would need to give the okay for it to be used again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these sorts of cars are really just kinda of Easter Eggs, there to liven things up I guess. I'm positive in the next installment of the series, another cool conceptual car will spawn out of the ground. PD and Nike collaborated and produced the Nike 2022, and PD and Red Bull/Seb collaborated and produced the X2010. I'm sure PD and another global brand or ambassador will collaborate next. It's essentially building brands.
